Resorts World Las Vegas, Theta Labs partner on composite NFTs offering luxury experiences
Resorts World Las Vegas and Theta Labs' partnership will see them release two packages of composite NFTs that will offer luxury experiences.
Resorts World Las Vegas and Theta Labs have teamed up to release composite NFTs that will offer luxury experiences to buyers.
The composite NFTs — essentially NFTs within an NFT — have to be redeemed before Nov. 1 and will be released in two separate packages.
In addition, a third commemorative NFT will be made available for a price of $10 on Theta Labs’ NFT marketplace, ThetaDrop to celebrate the partnership.
Resorts World Las Vegas and Theta Labs first collaborated in February to release NFTs that offered offline utility and real-world benefits to guests at the casino resort.
Theta Labs’ CEO, and Co-founder Mitch Liu said:
โTheta NFTs have always centered around connecting token holders to real-world utility and benefitsโ
The experiencesย
The “Presidential Package” NFTs include an exclusive 2-night stay in a four-bedroom presidential suite, including a private car service pick-up from the airport; a VIP spa treatment for two guests; and two exclusive tickets to a show at Resorts World Theatre.ย
They will also include a private wine tasting experience and cocktail masterclass with a Resorts World Las Vegas mixologist for two guests.ย
Meanwhile, the “VIP Party Package” NFTs comprise two VIP entry tickets to Zouk Nightclub; a two-night stay in a Hilton Standard room at Resorts World Las Vegas; one VIP daybed at Resorts World Las Vegas; and a VIP Pool with Food & Beverage starter package.
The experiences are restricted to those 21 years of age and over.
Real-world utility
In terms of NFTs offering real-world value, Theta Labs previously partnered with Sony to release a unique 3D NFT that works without 3D glasses.
The “Tiki Guy” NFT works with a Sony Spatial Reality Display, retailing at $4,999 but the NFT’s buyers would be able to claim a free display with a valid US shipping address.
As part of its partnership with American Idol, Theta offered NFTs in the form of contestant-based trading cards, with the collector holding an NFT of the winning contestant. The NFT holder gets an exclusive Winner’s Ticket to Hollywood NFT, which they can then redeem for a physical ticket to Hollywood NFT that American Idol would deliver to them.
