Donald John Trump was born on June 14, 1946, in Queens, New York City. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, Trump joined his family’s real estate business, eventually rebranding it as the Trump Organization. He expanded the company’s operations into various sectors, including real estate development, entertainment, and hospitality.

First Presidential Term (2017–2021)

In 2016, Trump entered politics and secured the Republican nomination for president. He won the general election against Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021. His administration focused on tax reforms, deregulation, and reshaping trade policies.

2024 Presidential Election and Second Term

After losing the 2020 election to Joe Biden, Trump announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential race. He secured the Republican nomination and selected Senator J.D. Vance of Ohio as his running mate. On November 5, 2024, Trump defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, marking a historic return to the White House.

Initially, Trump was critical of cryptocurrencies, labeling Bitcoin a “scam” in 2019. However, during his 2024 campaign, he adopted a more favorable view, proposing policies to bolster the domestic crypto industry. These included offering incentives for domestic Bitcoin mining and establishing a strategic Bitcoin reserve.

Bitcoin’s value surged to a record high following his election, reflecting investor optimism about his pro-crypto stance.
