The cryptocurrency market cap saw net inflows of $17.98 billion over the last 24 hours and currently stands at $837.18 billion from $819.2 billion -up 2.70% over the reporting period.

Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market cap increased by 1.67% and 3.74% to $317.09 billion and $148.88 billion, respectively.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies all posted gains over the reporting period. Dogecoin posted the biggest gain in the last 24 hours, up 9.84%. BTC and ETH gained 1.77% and 3.92%, respectively.

Over the reporting period, USD Coin’s (USDC) and BinanceUSD’s (BUSD) market cap decreased to $43.83 billion and $22.38 billion, respectively. Meanwhile, Tether’s (USDT) market cap remained flat at $65.34 billion.

Bitcoin

Over the reporting period, Bitcoin gained 1.77% to trade at $16,500 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance fell to 37.9% from 38% over the reporting period.

During the last 24 hours, Bitcoin traded for as high as $16,522 and bottomed at around $16,054.

Ethereum

ETH posted 3.92% gains over the last 24 hours to trade at $1,216 as of 07:00 ET. As a result, its market dominance increased to 17.8% from 17.5% over the reporting period.

Ethereum’s price action mostly mirrored Bitcoin. ETH traded at a high of $1,218 and bottomed at $1,156 in the last 24 hours.
