A tech visionary, Beniamin Mincu is the Co-Founder and CEO of Elrond. The Elrond blockchain is a new design that has been built from the ground up to be an internet-scale blockchain with a 1000-fold improvement in throughput, execution speed, and transaction costs. With a latency of 6 seconds and a cost of $0.001, Elrond can handle upwards of 15,000 transactions/second. Beniamin’s Elrond aims to accelerate the development of a high-bandwidth, transparent, digital financial system that is accessible to everyone.

Beniamin was previously involved in NEM.io’s core team since 2014, as well as an investor in several well-known blockchain startups like Binance, BAT, and Tezos via MetaChain Capital, which he founded with his brother.
