ZERC zkRace

zkRace, previously known as DeRace, stands out as a premier Web3 horse racing game and the first to implement advanced zk-rollup infrastructure specifically designed for GameFi, utilizing the ZERC token.

The ZERC token is a key component of zkRace, driving the GameFi revolution by providing exceptional utility that supports both the gaming experience and the foundational infrastructure.

The project’s Initial DEX Offering (IDO) took place on July 16, 2021, via DAO Maker, with the beta version of zkRace launching shortly thereafter on December 28, 2021.

Founders of zkRace

zkRace is developed by W3Forge, a Web3 development studio, incubator, and accelerator. The core team, consisting of eighteen members from Lithuania, the UK, France, Dubai, and Switzerland, was co-founded by Adomas Juodišius and Adelaida Sinkevič. Adomas serves as the CEO, having previously founded Media Bubbles, a marketing agency in Vilnius. Adelaida, who co-founded Media Bubbles and has served as CMO for various startups, is now the CMO at zkRace. The team is further strengthened by notable advisors, including Hassan Sheikh (co-founder of DAO Maker), Michael Kam (co-founder of Double Peak), former footballer Michael Owen, cricketer AB de Villiers, entrepreneur KmanuS88, and entrepreneur Alex Becker.

On the infrastructure side, zkRace employs advanced Layer 2 zk-rollup Validium technology, which significantly lowers financial barriers and enhances transparency by enabling near-zero gas fees for transactions related to minting, trading, and data storage. This in-house Validium solution ensures smooth gameplay, scalable off-chain data storage, and on-chain verification of game data integrity, positioning zkRace as a robust framework for advancing the GameFi industry.
