Matan Almakis Bio
Matan Almakis serves as Head of Protocol at DOP, bringing over 3 years of experience driving growth for pioneering blockchain startups. As Research Staff at Lamina, he contributed to Israel’s first IoT-focused layer 1 blockchain. Almakis has led projects leveraging blockchain innovations to solve real-world problems, taking a human-centered product approach. He holds a Master’s degree in organizational development and previously worked on DOP concepts at Tomi. Now at DOP, Almakis applies his blockchain expertise with a vision towards enabling selective transparency for improved mainstream adoption.
