Scope of this disclaimer
This disclaimer applies to CryptoSlate’s Coin Rankings, recently added assets, sector pages, individual asset profiles, and other on-site pages that display coin or token listing data.
What a coin listing means
A coin, token, or other digital asset may appear on CryptoSlate because it was identified through licensed data feeds, public sources, internal research, project-submitted materials, exchange data, or a verified commercial listing request. Inclusion on CryptoSlate does not mean CryptoSlate recommends, endorses, verifies, approves, or guarantees that asset.
Where a page is presented as a ranking, assets are generally ordered according to the metric named on that page, such as market cap, price change, trading volume, or another displayed data field. Rankings are informational only and are not editorial scores or recommendations.
How listing data is sourced and displayed
CryptoSlate may aggregate and display data from public sources, licensed commercial-use APIs, exchange feeds, blockchain analytics providers, project teams, and other third-party sources. CryptoSlate may also normalize, format, categorize, and enrich listing information for presentation on the site.
Data fields such as name, ticker, price, market cap, circulating supply, fully diluted valuation, trading volume, exchange availability, sector classification, chain association, logos, website links, whitepapers, social profiles, smart contract details, and descriptive copy may change without notice. Some of this information may come directly or indirectly from third parties, including the project itself.
Because data providers use different methodologies and update cadences, figures shown on CryptoSlate may differ from figures shown on exchanges, block explorers, issuers’ websites, or other data platforms.
Listing review, eligibility, and removal
CryptoSlate does not guarantee inclusion for every project. We may decline to add, delay, edit, recategorize, suspend, or remove a listing where information is incomplete, unverifiable, misleading, duplicative, technically deficient, or otherwise inconsistent with our platform standards or policies.
We may update listing information as new, corrected, or more complete data becomes available.
Paid priority asset listings and commercial relationships
CryptoSlate may offer paid asset listing services, priority review, expedited inclusion, enhanced profiles, directory placement, social amplification, or other commercial visibility products related to coin and token listings. These services are part of CryptoSlate’s advertising and commercial operations.
When a listing or placement is commercial in nature, CryptoSlate aims to make that relationship clear. A paid or priority listing does not constitute an endorsement by CryptoSlate and does not guarantee editorial coverage, favorable treatment, ranking position, exchange support, user adoption, liquidity, or performance.
Editorial independence
Commercial listing services do not buy newsroom decisions. Payment for a listing, profile enhancement, or expedited review does not guarantee that CryptoSlate will publish an article, mention a project in editorial content, or cover it favorably. Editorial judgment remains separate from commercial relationships.
Unless expressly disclosed otherwise, CryptoSlate has no affiliation with, ownership interest in, or formal partnership with any listed project, issuer, foundation, exchange, or related business merely because that asset appears on the site.
Not investment, legal, or tax advice
Nothing on CryptoSlate’s coin, token, sector, or rankings pages constitutes investment, financial, legal, tax, or other professional advice. Listings and rankings are provided for general informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as a solicitation, recommendation, or offer to buy, sell, hold, stake, lend, or otherwise use any digital asset.
Crypto is volatile and speculative. Trading availability and third-party links
A listing on CryptoSlate does not necessarily mean an asset is actively trading, widely available, legally available in your jurisdiction, or supported by any particular exchange, wallet, custodian, broker, or payment service.
