A unique prize NFT tied to Yuga Labs’ Dookey Dash game has sold for $1.6 million, according to a tweet from the original holder on Feb. 27.

Twitch streamer Faze Mongrall said that he sold the item to billionaire metal recycling and crypto mining entrepreneur Adam Weitsman for 1,000 ETH ($1.6 million).

Mongrall was awarded the key on Feb. 16 after achieving a high score in Dookey Dash. He initially aimed to sell the item for $3.7 million but did not receive any bids at that level.

Among the higher bids was an offer of 690 ETH ($1.1 million) from United Planets DAO on Feb. 25. Mongrall asked the group to double the bid but was turned down. Later, the social video site 9GAG placed a bid of 999 WETH ($1.6 million) on the asset.

The NFT, properly called “#21915 – Sewer Pass,” is listed on OpenSea.

Unlike many NFT games, which are based on chance, Dookey Dash is a skill-based game. The game is tied to Yuga Lab’s Bored Ape Yacht Club collection.
