UNLOCK Blockchain Forum

This event will discuss how we can create an innovative entrepreneurial setup for encouraging startups in the blockchain domain. Since the Blockchain will touch upon every aspect of our lives just as the internet did, almost anyone would benefit from participating at this event. Experts in the field as well as pioneers in both governmental and private sector will be sharing what they have come to understand about Blockchain.

In light of both the magnitude of the Blockchain and its effect on the global landscape economic and otherwise, as well as the leading role that Dubai is taking on when it comes to implementing and building the Blockchain ecosystem, Al Iktissad Wal Aamal in partnership with Smart Dubai will be launching the UNLOCK Forum between January 14th-15th, 2018 at Ritz Carlton Hotel DIFC.

The forum will discuss how governments and private institutions in the MENA region can use blockchain applications to create a more efficient, competitive, smart government, smart economy and reinvent businesses. The implications of blockchain on the future of jobs, governments, as well as the governance model needed to regulate it. Finally, the Forum will review the achievements of Dubai Government in implementing and piloting Blockchain solutions as well as their future plans.
