A Deribit address transferred 10,000 ETH in five transactions to a wallet associated with Alameda Research. The nature of the transfers is still unknown.

Data from Etherscan showed that a Deribit 9-labeled address has transferred a total of 10,000 ETH to an address associated with Alameda Research. The address held a total of 12,812.6 ETH at press time.
The 10,000 ETH was broken into five transactions of 2,000 ETH, with the first one sent on Dec. 10. The Deribit address currently holds around 3,473 ETH and just over 766,351 USDC.
In a November report, Nansen identified 0xF02 as one of the wallets belonging to Alameda Research. The multi-signature wallet was created after the FTX meltdown began and its purpose is still unknown.
Some analysts believe that the wallet was created by white hat hackers looking to gather what’s left of Alameda’s scattered funds. Others note that this could also be a wallet set up by Bahamian regulators.
The nature of Deribit’s transfers to the Alameda-linked address is still unknown. The Panama-based exchange is yet to comment on the transfers.
