Pundi X initially launched with the PXS and PXSXEM tokens, the tokens were swapped for the NPXS tokens between March and September 2018. The swap rate was set at one PXS token for 1,000 NPXS.

The team had officially started on March 30, 2021 the token reduction swap from NPXS token to PUNDIX token after taking the poll result, product roadmap, committee feedback and the market condition into consideration. PUNDIX is the new token ticker, representing the company and will be the native token in Pundi X ecosystem (XPOS, XPASS, and XWallet). 1,000 NPXS tokens is equivalent to 1 PUNDIX token.
