About Kast Card

Kast Card is a crypto-linked Visa card product offered through the KAST platform. It is available as a virtual card for immediate use and, where supported, a physical card that can be shipped to users. KAST positions the card as a way to spend a USD-denominated balance funded by stablecoins and other supported deposits, with automatic currency conversion for international purchases and optional rewards tied to card activity.

Overview

According to KAST’s Terms and Conditions of Service, the “Company” refers to KAST Tech (Reg No. 16223), incorporated in Anjouan, Union of Comoros. KAST’s terms describe the Kast Card as a credit card provided through partners and secured by deposited virtual assets held with a custodian. In day-to-day use, KAST’s help documentation and product pages describe the card as drawing from a user’s available KAST balance, with transactions settling through the Visa network.

  • Parent company: KAST Tech (per KAST Terms and Conditions of Service)
  • Card network: Visa
  • Card formats: Virtual and physical (availability varies by country)
  • Account denomination: USD balance display within KAST

Card Types and Tiers

KAST offers multiple tiers that affect pricing and rewards. Its published fee schedule describes Standard, Premium, Limited, and Luxe tiers. Standard cards are presented as premium plastic, while higher tiers include premium metal and, for the top tier, gold-plated or solid-gold variants. KAST also describes themed Standard designs (for example, K, Solana, and Bitcoin Silver) that share the same core functionality.

Funding and Supported Assets

KAST’s Terms define “Acceptable Tokens” for deposit as USDT and USDC, and note that the list can be updated. KAST’s fees and conditions page adds that stablecoin deposits are converted to USD at a 1:1 rate with 0% spread. KAST also describes deposits of non-stablecoin tokens as being automatically converted into stablecoins, with a 2% to 5% conversion fee that varies by token.

For fiat funding, KAST’s published schedule lists incoming USD bank transfer fees of $2 for ACH and $15 for Fedwire, and states that incoming bank transfers must be in USD.

Rewards and Benefits

KAST uses a points-based rewards system called KAST Points. Its published rewards table states that Season 5 runs from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, and that KAST Points rewards on card spending are 2% for Standard, 5% for Premium and Limited, and 8% for Luxe during that season. The same schedule lists Solana staking-related rewards that accrue as KAST Points, ranging from 0.25 KAST Points per 1 SOL approximately every two days for Standard up to 1 KAST Point per 1 SOL approximately every two days for Luxe.

KAST also documents a promotional rewards campaign tied to the $MOVE token, stating that qualifying purchases can earn an additional 4% back in $MOVE tokens during the campaign period, alongside regular KAST Points. Rewards programs and promotional campaigns are subject to change and can be time-limited.

Fees and Limits

KAST’s published pricing lists an annual fee of $0 for Standard, $1,000 per year for Premium, $5,000 one time for Limited, and $10,000 per year for Luxe. The fee schedule states the first two virtual cards are free, additional virtual cards cost $2 each, and in some countries the first virtual card costs $2. Standard physical cards are listed as free with a $40 shipping fee, while additional physical cards on higher tiers can carry additional issuance fees.

For card transaction fees, KAST lists 0% top-up fees, 0% card spend and transaction fees in USD, and 0% fees for Apple Pay and Google Pay. For non-USD transactions, KAST lists a foreign exchange fee of 0.5% to 1.75% depending on the user’s country and where the transaction takes place. KAST also lists a $0.10 fee for non-USD transactions under $25 and a $0.50 declined transaction fee when the decline is due to insufficient balance.

KAST’s schedule describes unlimited card transaction limits and unlimited account deposit and balance limits across tiers. For ATM withdrawals, it lists a fee of $3 plus 2% of the withdrawal amount, with an additional foreign exchange fee for non-USD withdrawals. It also lists an ATM withdrawal limit of up to $250 per withdrawal, with a limit of three withdrawals or $750 per 24-hour period.

Acceptance and Usage

KAST states that its cards can be used online, in-store, and internationally wherever Visa is accepted, and that stablecoins can automatically convert to 18 or more local currencies at checkout. KAST’s support documentation also notes that some regions may restrict prepaid card acceptance due to local regulations and that merchants such as hotels or car rental providers may place pre-authorization holds that temporarily reduce available spending capacity.

Eligibility and Availability

KAST states the card is not available in every country and instructs users to check availability during sign-up, where supported countries appear in a dropdown selection. KAST also notes that using a VPN to access services from an unsupported country violates its Terms of Service. KYC verification requirements can apply depending on the service and region, and KAST indicates that users who cannot complete KYC will not be able to access platform features until their country becomes supported.

Risks and Considerations

  • Terms-driven model: KAST’s Terms describe deposited virtual assets as being sold to KAST for settlement purposes, with a USD-denominated ledger entry used as a transactional reference for spending.
  • FX and ATM costs: International transactions can incur foreign exchange fees, and cash withdrawals can include both KAST fees and ATM operator surcharges.
  • Rewards variability: KAST Points rates are published by season, and additional token-based promotions can be time-limited and subject to eligibility rules.
  • Regional constraints: Availability, card shipping, and digital wallet support can vary by country and may change based on regulatory and partnership requirements.
