Huobi Building Global Blockchain Resource Alliance With ‘Global Elites’ Initiative
Huobi announced on its blog Wednesday that it would be launching the third phase of its Huobi Global Elites program, another step toward building what it calls a “Global Blockchain Resource Alliance.”
The Global Elites Initiative
Huobi is expanding its reach into the global market by partnering with businesses and organizations through blockchain resources and/or access to a customer base interested in cryptocurrency.
The Huobi Global Elites program offers incentives for partnering with the company like increased fee profits (Huobi claims partners can take home 40 percent of the fees), access to resources not otherwise available via sharing with other partners and new opportunities for partnerships with other crypto-related businesses.
Huobi put the word out via social media with a poster reading “Global Elites League: Recruitment of Huobi Global Elites.” The flyer also advertised a referral bonus of maximum 2 BTC.

Global Elites members appear to be exactly that, with Huobi stating on its blog that it now has partners across five continents and more than 20 countries including China, Taiwan, Russian, South Korea, the U.S., the U.K. and Brazil.
Benefits of the Program
Huobi claims its partners can benefit in three main areas: economic benefits, resource sharing and promotions.
The economic benefits come from a company’s take of sales. For example, once a business agrees to partner with Huobi and set up an exchange using its service in the business’ home country. Companies can also become certified merchants through the program, which involves an application and verification process as well as security deposit given in Huobi Token (HT).
Furthermore, members are able to share resources once connected with Huobi’s network of merchants and businesses–which may mean greater access to information; exclusive rights to posting advertisements on particular forums; and first-hand access to data from Huobi resources like Huobi News, Huobi Labs and the Huobi Global Ecosystem Fund. On its website, Huobi claims its network of partners is over 100 members strong.
The company also says several successful promotional events have already been hosted by program members in the U.K., Netherlands and South Korea.
In closing, Huobi states:
“…the establishment of Global Resource Alliance of Global Elites for the industry builds a sharing pool of resources in order to unite everyone and overcome the difficult times together.”
Other recent ventures by Huobi Global include a partnership with BlockGames, where the company hopes to disrupt the status quo of the online gaming world by eventually providing blockchain infrastructure for video game distribution and development.
