Why Mark Cuban says Dogecoin (DOGE) is a community ‘anyone can enjoy’
Claiming that he doesn’t pump anything other than Dallas Mavericks merch, the billionaire investor broke down his main reasons for promoting Dogecoin.
Dallas Mavericks owner, Mark Cuban, explained why he backs the meme token, while stating that Dogecoin (DOGE) rules the crypto space when it comes to paying for goods and services.
According to Cuban, the NBA team organization has witnessed substantial sales made with Dogecoin and, to further promote the popular crypto’s use, Dallas Mavericks will be offering special pricing for those who opt for the most famous meme token when paying for their merch.
Anyone can join and enjoy
“I don’t shill Doge. I shill the prods & services of my companies. Where we allow people to pay in ANY crypto, 95% of the sales are in DOGE,” said Dallas Mavericks’ owner on Twitter, when asked why he keeps backing the “joke meme coin with no devs and no theoretical supply limit.”
“We can argue everything and anything re BTC, but right now DOGE is the people’s way to pay,” added Cuban in his reply to Jason A. Williams, a famous Bitcoin (BTC) devotee.
I don't shill Doge. I shill the prods & services of my companies. Where we allow people to pay in ANY crypto, 95% of the sales are in DOGE. Customers CHOOSE to use DOGE. We can argue everything and anything re BTC, but right now DOGE is the people's way to pay. #DOGEFACTS https://t.co/59HbSIWh8w

According to Cuban, an often overlooked fact about Dogecoin is that the meme token’s “imperfections and simplicity are its greatest strengths.”
“You can only use it to do 2 things: Spend It or HODL It. Both are easy to understand. And it’s cheap to buy. Which makes it a community anyone can join and enjoy,” said Cuban, while breaking down how the ABC of superficial consumerism translates to crypto.
The point about DOGE that people miss is that DOGE's imperfections and simplicity are it's greatest strengths. You can only use it to do 2 things: Spend It or HODL It. Both are easy to understand. And it's cheap to buy. Which makes it a community anyone can join and enjoy.

“Bread and circuses”
Dogecoin’s price pumped another 15,5% in the past 24 hours, further bolstering the token’s 37,7% seven-day rally as the most infamous crypto influencer, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, has agreed with Cuban’s claims.

When confronted with a question about Dogecoin’s vulnerability, which could lead to dramatic consequences once the hype surrounding the meme token ends, Cuban concluded that the same threat applies to everything.
Joel. that applies to everything. Supply and demand is undefeated. But with DOGE you can spend $1 to own 333 DOGE and have fun as part of a fun community. The BTC maxis experience and do the same thing. They just have a different kind of fun. They like to yell at people https://t.co/Hy5bh5GNHl

“Supply and demand are undefeated,” he said, adding that Dogecoin users are at least bound to “have fun as a part of a fun community.”
I don’t pump anything other than Mavs merch. BUT, the DOGEsphere is fun. Their memes are great. They have fun. They make fun of themselves. It’s fun to be part of. https://t.co/wi6I49yMnL

Apparently not even crypto can challenge the ancient Roman formula for superficial appeasement.
