BlockDown Conference launches video on demand service, BlockDown TV
The company behind one of the most popular crypto and blockchain-related conferences in the industry has announced the launch of BlockDown.TV, a platform where users can access content from previous BlockDown conferences. The website contains hours of content from some of the most influential figures in the industry, including chats with Binance’s Changpeng Zhao, Stellar’s Jed McCaleb, Akon, and others.
Revisiting BlockDown conferences on new platform
After two hugely successful virtual 3D conferences in 2020, BlockDown positioned itself as one of the most sought-after events in the crypto industry. The most recent event, held in mid-June, attracted an even bigger crowd as it brought together industry heavyweights to discuss some of the hottest topics of the year.
And now, less than a month after the event ended, the company behind the event, EAK Digital, has launched BlockDown.TV. The platform will feature all of the conference’s past keynotes, panels, and streamed content, all presented in a simple and easy to access website.
Users will be able to rewatch hours of content from the conferences, which include lengthy one-on-one interviews with some of the industry’s leading figures, such as Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao, Ripple’s CTO David Schwartz, and artist and cryptocurrency investor Akon.
BlockDown.TV offers early bird access and special discounts, but only for members
BlockDown.TV will also feature the popular “Mastermind” sessions, where topics such as blockchain interoperability, cryptocurrency exchanges, and the difference between centralized and decentralized finance were heavily discussed.
Huobi’s head of global markets Ciara Sun joined OKEx’s Lennix Lai, while MakerDAO’s co-founder Rune Christensen debated the future of DeFi with Celsius Network’s CEO Alex Mashinsky.
All of the content is available for streaming in English, Spanish, and Turkish. The platform’s viewers will also be the first ones to get invitations to exclusive events, discounts, and early-bird access to all future BlockDown tickets.
The launch might fulfill the void created by the recent shut down of BLOCKTV.
