SAUCE SaucerSwap
SaucerSwap Info
SaucerSwap is the premier decentralized exchange protocol on the Hedera network, designed as a collection of non-upgradable smart contracts that prioritize censorship resistance, security, and self-custody.
Utilizing the Hedera Token Service (HTS), SaucerSwap benefits from rapid transaction speeds and a low-cost fee structure denominated in U.S. dollars. The architecture of Hedera guarantees fair transaction ordering on SaucerSwap, effectively eliminating the risk of miner extractable value (MEV) attacks that are prevalent in Ethereum-based platforms like Uniswap.
The protocol has two versions: SaucerSwap V1 functions as a constant product automated market maker (AMM), while V2 enhances capital efficiency by introducing concentrated liquidity.
The native token, SAUCE, serves several purposes:
- Governance: SAUCE allows holders to engage in the SaucerSwap DAO, voting on various ecosystem proposals, including protocol upgrades and incentive structures.
- Liquidity: Managed by the Masterchef smart contract, SAUCE incentivizes liquidity provision in both SaucerSwap V1 and V2.
- Staking: Holders of SAUCE can stake their tokens to earn a portion of trading fees, HBAR staking rewards, and emissions through an automated buyback system.
