Chamath Palihapitiya, the founder of Social Capital, is known for making significant investments in groundbreaking ideas, technologies, and individuals. Earlier in his career, Chamath held prominent positions at The Mayfield Fund, AOL, and Winamp. Born in Sri Lanka, he was raised in Canada and earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
