Griffin AI’s Decentralized AI Roadmap is Out

Vaduz, Liechtenstein, December 19th, 2024 – Griffin AI releases it’s Roadmap 2025. The project has been working quietly but steadily on its mission to bring artificial intelligence to the world of blockchain technology since 2022. But this year the project has grown substantially both in terms of team, funding, and technology.
Griffin AI’s mission is to develop a platform where anyone can build, deploy, and monetize AI Agents. Instead of boiling the ocean, they decided to focus on the biggest use cases of crypto first: DeFi, crypto investments, and decentralized governance. The team believes that with the AI agents that they have already built and continue to develop, Griffin AI can tackle crucial DeFi and blockchain challenges and transform how users interact on-chain.
AI Agents are semi-autonomous AI systems that can approach and accomplish more complex tasks in sustained processes. Griffin AI plans to deploy these and make their creation available on a decentralized system where anyone, techie or non-coder can craft their agent.
This vision is being realized in a series of sequential steps, the most prominent of which this year has been the release of the first AI Agents within the Griffin AI Agent Playground.
In 2025 Griffin AI plans to reach the following milestones:
• Griffin ID Public Launch: in Q1 2025, Griffin ID will go live on a major Layer 2 blockchain. This decentralized identity solution will give human users and AI agents privacy-first authentication without relying on centralized platforms.
• AI Agent Builder 1.0: The platform which is now focused on the Agent Playground will transform into the AI Agent Builder in Q1, making it possible for project teams and other users—even those without technical expertise—to create customized AI agents for their use cases.
• AI Agent Marketplace: Slated for mid-2025, the marketplace will allow developers to share, showcase, and monetize their agents, creating a space for commercial collaboration between AI solution providers, developers, and creators of AI agents as well as end users.
• Mainnet Launch: The highlight of the fully fledged release of Griffin Network will be the mainnet launch, set for Q3 2025. This is when Griffin AI will integrate Griffin AI’s full ecosystem into a single, operational network – Griffin Network – connecting to and providing support to other networks across the ecosystem.

2024 in review: Key milestones achieved
The past year has been about building a solid foundation for the future. Here are the standout achievements:
• Release of the first agents in the Playground, focusing on DeFi research and knowledge, general-purpose agentic tasks, and crypto news.
• Partnership with Burrito Wallet: A major integration in Q2 saw the research-focused ELANN.AI agent developed by Griffin AI for Smart Valor and integrated into the wallet of the second largest Korean exchange. The collaboration onboarded a platform of over 400,000 users and showed how AI can simplify human work even for complex tasks such as financial analysis.
• V1 Griffin Contributor Platform Release: Griffin AI launched its v1.0 platform in Q2 of 2024, developing the platform and tools with which the team could begin to build and test their first AI agents, supported by their loyal community, which has quickly grown to over 200.000 members.
• Internal Testnet Deployed: In Q3 of 2024, Griffin rolled out its internal testnet, which allowed us to test the system’s scalability and resilience in a controlled environment. This was a critical step towards preparing the network for broader use.
• AI Agent Playground Launch: Griffin made things more hands-on in Q3 by introducing an experimental space for developers and users to interact directly with AI agents. • V2 Platform Release: By Q4, Griffin AI introduced v2.0, an upgrade with smoother workflows and expanded functionality.
These milestones are some of the marks in the road charting Griffin AI’s steady march toward their goal: to become one of the top five agentic AI projects in the crypto space. They aim to achieve this by providing deep, effective solutions to the biggest challenges in DeFi.
