Crypto Fund Trader routes orders to a real Bybit order book across 715 crypto pairs, with no deadline or minimum trading days. CryptoSlate rates the product first rate and its public record poor: Trustpilot withdrew its rating after a guideline breach, and FINMA has listed the site since 2024.

Crypto Fund Trader Discount Code

Crypto Fund Trader did not list a live, firm-issued discount code on Aug. 10, 2026. Coupon sites list plenty of codes, but none worked in the firm’s own checkout.

Choosing 1 Phase provides the saving without a code. It costs between $18 and $51 less than 2 Phases at every account size, despite carrying the higher profit target. A trader choosing on cost alone should start there. Most firms price a single-phase challenge in the opposite way.

How Crypto Fund Trader Works

You pay once for an evaluation, trade a simulated account inside a fixed loss limit, and on passing you reach what the firm calls the Live Stage, where you keep 80% of simulated profit. No program carries a deadline and none carries a minimum number of trading days, so a trader can pass in one session or take a year.

The pricing page shows three routes with different step counts, drawdown models, daily limits and starting splits. The terms also refer to additional routes, covered under Platforms and Trading Conditions.

2 Phases

1 Phase

The single phase asks for a higher target, 10% against 8%, and gives you less room to reach it, 6% against 10%. It is the tighter route despite costing less.

Instant

Instant skips the evaluation and moves a buyer straight into the simulated funded stage. Its lower starting split improves as the account doubles.

LevelTargetProfit split
$5,000$5,50050%
$10,000$11,00060%
$20,000$22,00070%

$80,000$88,00090%
$160,000 to $1,280,00010% per level90%

Entry sizes are $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000, with a 10% target for each double-up, a 4% daily loss and a 6% overall loss. The ceiling of $1,280,000 is the largest number anywhere in the firm’s lineup, and reaching it means eight consecutive doublings from the $5,000 entry without a 6% drawdown. From $2,500 it takes nine, and from $10,000 seven.

A trader starting Instant at $5,000 keeps half of the simulated profit. The share rises to 60% at $10,000 and 70% at $20,000, reaching the standard 80% only at $40,000. That lower starting split is the cost of the scaling ceiling.

  1. No deadline and no minimum trading days, so this can be passed in a single session or held open indefinitely. The 10% floor is static from the initial balance and never moves. Daily loss is measured against the balance at 12:05 AM UTC. Leverage advertised up to 1:100.
  2. Same limits with a lower target, and still no deadline or minimum days.
  3. 80% of simulated profit, or up to 90% by paying the 20% upgrade. A first payout waits on 15 traded days, then every 30 calendar days as standard, or every 7 traded days with the Weekly Scholarship Request add-on. No minimum withdrawal is published.

Does not scale — what is bought is what is traded, with a combined ceiling of $300,000 across multiple passed evaluations. 80% standard, 90% only by paying 20% of the evaluation fee. Never refunded, on any outcome including a clean pass, and there is no discounted reset.

Live StageNote 24%6%15NoneNone
  1. A higher target than 2 Phases at 10% against 8%, with less room to reach it at 6% against 10%. The floor trails the highest balance but only until the account is 6% in profit, at which point it locks to the opening balance permanently. On a $50,000 account it starts at $47,000, follows a run to $52,000 up to $48,880, then fixes at $50,000 once the balance reaches $53,000. The dangerous stretch is the first 6%, not the life of the account.
  2. Once the trailing has locked, this is a static account with banked profit sitting above the floor, which is more forgiving than most of the category. 80% split, or up to 90% paid. First payout at 15 traded days.

Cheaper than 2 Phases at every account size, by $18 to $51, while asking the higher target and giving less room — the tighter route despite costing less. Does not scale. Never refunded, on any outcome including a clean pass, and there is no discounted reset.

Instant

PhaseProfit targetDaily lossMaximum drawdownMinimum daysTime limitConsistency rule
Live StageNote 110%4%6%0NoneNone
  1. No evaluation. The 10% target applies to each double-up rather than to a pass: $5,000 to $5,500 at a 50% split, then $10,000 at 60%, $20,000 at 70%, $40,000 at 80% and $80,000 at 90%, running to a $1,280,000 ceiling. No minimum trading days at all, and a request can be made at 10% profit.

The only route that scales. The balance doubles at each 10% target, from a $5,000 entry to a $1,280,000 ceiling, which takes eight consecutive doublings without a 6% drawdown. The split climbs 50%, 60%, 70%, 80% then 90%, so a trader starting at $5,000 keeps half their simulated profit and does not match the standard 80% until $40,000. Entry sizes are $2,500, $5,000 and $10,000, and only the $5,000 price is published. Never refunded, on any outcome including a clean pass, and there is no discounted reset.

Crypto Fund Trader Rules and Restrictions

The Drawdown Explained

Crypto Fund Trader assigns a separate drawdown model to each program and uses different labels on its own program cards.

The firm’s FAQ confirms the two labels. On 2 Phases, the 10% limit is static and stays fixed at 10% of the initial account balance. On 1 Phase, the 6% limit trails the highest balance.

The trailing model on 1 Phase has a limit that matters more than the trailing itself. It rises with new highs only until you are 6% in profit, at which point it locks to the account’s opening balance and stops moving for good.

On a $50,000 single-phase account, the floor starts at $47,000. If the balance reaches $52,000, the floor follows to $48,880. At $53,000, which is 6% up, the trailing stops and the floor fixes at the $50,000 opening balance. The account then becomes static with $3,000 of banked profit above the floor.

Risk is concentrated in the first 6% of the account’s growth. Giving back an unbanked run before clearing that threshold permanently reduces the available room. Afterward, CryptoSlate considers the model more forgiving than most competitors because the floor stays at the starting balance instead of climbing forever.

Daily loss is measured against your balance at 12:05 AM UTC, so the reference point resets on a fixed clock, not your local trading day.

Daily Loss

Daily loss is a separate hard stop measured within one trading day and reset each day. It is 4% on 1 Phase and Instant, compared with 5% on 2 Phases. Either the daily limit or overall limit can fail the account, so traders must stay inside both.

Consistency Rule

Every program omits a consistency rule, a minimum number of trading days to pass and a maximum trading period. A first payout on the phased routes still waits on 15 traded days. CryptoSlate considers this unusually permissive and a real advantage over firms that require three to five profitable days before a payout or cap one day’s share of total profit.

News and Weekend Trading

News trading is allowed with no stated restriction around high-impact releases. The firm advertises “no restrictions during high-volatility events.” CryptoSlate considers that policy unusual because most firms block a window on either side of a release.

Weekend and overnight holding are permitted on every account type and every instrument, with no exceptions. That covers the MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader routes as well as Bybit, so a swing trader is not forced flat on a Friday.

Positions held on Bybit carry that platform’s funding rate instead of a weekend swap, so the cost of holding accrues continuously instead of arriving as a Friday charge.

Prohibited Strategies

CryptoSlate considers the mechanical limits clear and easy to plan around. The written rules are less precise. The public rulebook refers to risk manipulation and unrealistic strategy without giving a number, so staff decide case by case whether a trader has broken them. Traders should keep their own records of a passing account.

The firm’s terms describe an educational-services provider and classify the payout as a performance-based reward. CryptoSlate judges that wording protective of the firm instead of the trader.

Restricted Countries

Crypto Fund Trader publishes no blanket restricted-country list. Availability depends on the platform you pick and on local law, and the firm publishes no single country list.

A US resident can trade only through Match-Trader, with the platform selected at checkout. Bybit traders must check Bybit’s own country list because the firm explicitly does not police it. CryptoSlate considers that arrangement unusually open, but it puts the burden on the trader.

The firm also states that neither SWISS RLCRATES AG nor RLCRATES S.L. operates in countries where crypto or CFD activity is not permitted, and that its content applies only to the extent local law allows. That is a general disclaimer, not a checkable list.

Crypto Fund Trader Pricing and Account Sizes

Crypto Fund Trader charges one fee, paid once and non-refundable in every case, including a clean pass. It offers no reset discount. A failed evaluation requires buying a new one at full price, which costs more than a discounted retry at many firms.

Where two values appear, the first is the 1 Phase route and the second is 2 Phases.

Instant is priced separately, from $2,500 to $10,000 of starting capital, with the $5,000 tier at $240.

Two paid upgrades sit on top of the base fee, and each costs 20% of the evaluation price. Neither appears on the program selector, so the headline fee is not the real cost for most traders who want the terms the marketing leads with.

Add-onPriceWhat it changes
Weekly Scholarship Request20% of the evaluation feeLets you request a payout after 7 traded days instead of the standard 30 calendar days
90% Bonus Performance20% of the evaluation feeRaises eligibility from 80% to up to 90% of the reward

Both upgrades add 40% to the base fee. A $100,000 two-phase account advertised at $660 costs $924 with weekly payouts and the 90% split. The $200,000 account rises from $1,250 to $1,750. Comparing CFT’s headline price with a firm that includes weekly payouts as standard does not compare like with like.

Crypto Fund Trader Payouts and Profit Split

Payout Terms

The standard split is 80%, which CryptoSlate places at the generous end for crypto prop firms. A paid upgrade raises it to 90%. The firm processes payouts through the trader dashboard, with withdrawal available by bank transfer, USDT or USDC.

On the 1 Phase and 2 Phases routes the first request comes after 15 traded days, and after that the standard wait is every 30 calendar days. The Weekly Scholarship Request add-on compresses that to a request after 7 traded days. Instant accounts carry no minimum trading days at all and can request at 10% profit.

Crypto Fund Trader publishes no minimum withdrawal in its FAQ or terms. This leaves two possibilities: no floor, or a dashboard-only figure that appears when a trader requests a payout. Traders planning a small first payout should ask support before assuming it will clear.

The firm consistently calls a payout a scholarship reward, while its terms describe eligibility instead of entitlement. The same wording appears alongside its Swiss registration as an education business. CryptoSlate judges it protective of the firm.

Verified Payout Evidence

No independent record confirms that Crypto Fund Trader pays, and the usual place to look has no rating.

Nothing here reaches the VERIFIED standard for Crypto Fund Trader paying out. There is verified evidence that its review profile was manipulated. Those are different claims and the second does not prove the first is false, but it does mean the usual way of checking a prop firm’s payout record is unavailable here.

The firm’s own totals remain advertising until an independent party checks them. It cites a third-party payout-verification service, but CryptoSlate has not independently checked that service.

Scaling Plan

The phased routes keep the purchased account size and do not scale. The firm caps holdings across passed accounts at $300,000, reachable by passing more than one evaluation. Only Instant scales, doubling to $1,280,000 while lifting the split from 50% to 90%.

Platforms and Trading Conditions

CryptoSlate rates Crypto Fund Trader’s execution and instrument coverage above every alternative in this review. Traders can choose MetaTrader 5, Match-Trader or a direct Bybit integration. The Bybit route sets the firm apart because orders go to an actual exchange order book with real depth and Bybit’s own fee schedule, instead of a synthetic price feed generated by the firm.

Coverage includes 715 crypto pairs and more than 900 instruments after adding forex, indices, stocks and commodities. CryptoSlate considers that well beyond most crypto-first firms.

Real Bybit execution exposes traders to genuine slippage during volatile moves. Perpetual positions carry Bybit’s funding rate instead of a smoothed swap. Traders arriving from a forex prop firm should expect sharper price moves and trade smaller while the 6% floor is still moving.

Advertised leverage reaches 1:100 across all instruments. CryptoSlate considers that high for crypto because competitors commonly cap majors at 1:5 and altcoins at 1:2. Crypto Fund Trader publishes no per-instrument breakdown, and the funded-account figure is not shown before payment. Treat 1:100 as an advertised ceiling, not a confirmed rate on every pair.

Crypto Fund Trader flags Match-Trader as working in the US, where platform availability varies by jurisdiction. MetaTrader 5 is closed to US residents.

Crypto Fund Trader publishes its full commission schedule, which CryptoSlate considers more complete than most competitors:

The firm’s own FAQ and terms describe account types that do not appear on its program selector, including a 3-phase route with payouts after 5 traded days, and Break accounts running a 4% trailing limit at $25,000 and $50,000 and 3% at $100,000. Ascend accounts are also referenced.

The firm does not say whether these are current products, retired names or partner-only routes. The pricing page offers three options while the rulebook governs at least six. CryptoSlate considers that gap a transparency problem under every possible explanation.

Is Crypto Fund Trader Legit and Safe?

Zug company records and a working Bybit integration support the view that the business exists and the product does what it says. Traders also post payout screenshots. CryptoSlate sees more open trust questions here than at any firm it would normally score above average.

The FINMA Listing

FINMA added www.cryptofundtrader.com to its public warning list on 23 August 2024, giving the Zug address and the reason “not entered in commercial register”.

The warning gives “not entered in commercial register” as its reason. The company in the firm’s footer, SWISS RLCRATES AG, is on the Swiss commercial register. It was entered on March 26, 2024, five months before the warning. The trading name Cryptofundtrader is not registered. CryptoSlate therefore interprets the listing as a gap between the trading name and company, not evidence that the company does not exist, and judges it arguably stale on that basis.

FINMA’s own position is that appearing on the list does not automatically mean an activity is unlawful, but does indicate a lack of authorization. The listing has not been withdrawn.

What the Company Is Registered To Do

SWISS RLCRATES AG is registered for “online education and training courses, as well as the commercialization, buying, and selling of all kinds of digital products.” The register does not list financial services, and that entry is undisputed. The firm’s terms describe it as an educational-services provider. Its footer states that it is “not authorized or licensed in Switzerland,” and every account is described as simulated with no real capital involved.

Both the educational-services registration and simulated accounts are common among prop firms and disclosed here. Under the terms, a trader’s payout is a reward from an education company instead of a profit share from a regulated financial company. Traders should include that distinction in their decision.

The registered address is care of a law firm, while the site markets offices in Switzerland, Pamplona and Dubai alongside more than 50 staff. CryptoSlate sees no obvious match between a care-of address and three marketed offices.

The Trustpilot Suppression

Trustpilot has removed Crypto Fund Trader’s score. The profile carries a warning that the rating is unavailable due to a breach of guidelines, and a second notice stating that a number of fake reviews were removed.

CryptoSlate considers this the clearest public warning about the firm and a serious negative. It does not establish that the firm fails to pay. It establishes interference with the public record used to assess payouts, so the evidence above cannot rely on that profile. The firm does reply to reviews, including critical ones, which carries some weight.

Payout Denial History
No denial pattern on record, but no independent record either. Trustpilot withdrew the rating for a guideline breach and separately removed a number of fake reviews (VERIFIED, profile warning banner). That does not mean the firm fails to pay — it means the public record of whether it pays was interfered with, so the payout evidence here cannot lean on it. The firm does reply to reviews including critical ones, and traders consistently single out fast, named support.

Crypto Fund Trader Alternatives

Crypto Fund Trader leads the firms we rate on execution and instrument coverage. CryptoSlate ranks it weakest on verifiable trust. The alternatives below trade some product quality for a cleaner record.

Breakout is owned by Kraken, has no minimum trading days and no deadlines, and a rulebook that leaves less to the firm’s judgment, though its pair coverage is far narrower. FTMO refunds the evaluation fee with the first payout and has a much longer public record, but offers no direct-exchange crypto execution. Alpha Capital Group caps leverage well below 1:100, which suits traders who want the ceiling lowered, not raised.

Crypto Fund Trader

Final Verdict

Crypto Fund Trader offers wide crypto pair coverage on a Bybit-integrated platform, with no deadline, no minimum trading days, and entry from $40. Read the execution claim carefully. The firm's own terms describe the service as educational and simulated and state that operations are not real, so a Bybit-branded interface is not evidence that an order reaches a live book. What it cannot offer is a verifiable record. Trustpilot withdrew the rating for a guideline breach and separately removed fake reviews, FINMA has listed the site since August 2024, and the company is registered in Zug as an education business rather than a financial one.

FAQ

Crypto Fund Trader FAQs

Is Crypto Fund Trader a scam?

No, according to this review’s judgment. The company is on the Zug commercial register, the Bybit integration works as described and traders post payouts. It also sits on FINMA’s warning list, and Trustpilot withdrew its rating after removing fake reviews. “Operating but hard to verify” is more accurate than either scam or fully safe.

Does Crypto Fund Trader use a trailing drawdown?

Only on the 1 Phase route, and only up to a point. The 6% limit trails your highest balance until you are 6% in profit, then locks to the opening balance permanently. The 2 Phases and Instant routes are static throughout, measured from the initial account balance.

Is the evaluation fee refundable?

No, on any program and regardless of outcome, including a clean pass. There is also no discounted reset, so a failed evaluation means buying a new one at full price.

What is the minimum number of trading days?

Every program shows a minimum of zero trading days and no maximum. An evaluation can therefore be passed in a single session or held open indefinitely.

What leverage does Crypto Fund Trader offer?

Up to 1:100 is advertised across all instruments, which CryptoSlate considers high for crypto because competitors often cap majors at 1:5. Treat the figure selectively as a ceiling, especially on the 1 Phase route where the 6% floor trails.

Which platforms does Crypto Fund Trader support?

Crypto Fund Trader supports MetaTrader 5, Match-Trader and a direct Bybit integration. The Bybit route is the firm’s main point of difference because it routes to a real exchange order book instead of a synthetic price feed. Match-Trader is flagged as working in the US.

How large can a Crypto Fund Trader account get?
