RSS questions, answered

What is RSS?
RSS lets you follow updates from websites in a feed reader. You can bring several sources together without signing up for email.
Are the feeds free, and do I need an account?
These public CryptoSlate feeds are free and do not require a CryptoSlate account or email signup. You only need an RSS reader. Your reader may have its own free or paid plans.
How do I subscribe to a feed?
Copy a feed URL from this page, open your RSS reader and paste it into its add-feed or subscribe option. Your reader will check for new entries.
Do the feeds include full articles?
These public feeds include titles, excerpts and links to the full version on CryptoSlate. Guide and crypto law entries also include their featured image when one is available.
How often do feeds update?
Feeds reflect published content. Daily and trending news feeds use rolling 24-hour and seven-day windows. How quickly new entries appear in your reader depends on its refresh settings.
Can I follow one review category?
Yes. Choose a review category from the list above. A parent category includes reviews from its child categories; a child feed follows that category and its descendants.
What if the copy button does not work?
Select the URL in its field and copy it using your keyboard or touch menu. The URL fields and feed links remain available without JavaScript.
Why won’t my reader load a feed?
Copy the complete URL, including https://, into your reader’s add-feed option. If it still fails, try refreshing the feed or adding it again. Contact CryptoSlate with the feed URL and your reader’s name if the problem continues.
How are RSS feeds different from newsletters?
RSS brings published entries into your reader. Our newsletters bring curated editions to your inbox. You can use either or both. Explore CryptoSlate newsletters.
Can I republish content from these feeds?
RSS access does not grant republication or syndication rights. For redistribution or commercial use, contact CryptoSlate to request written permission.
