For CFDs, the current discount code is NEW25, taking 25% off a first challenge on Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step, and Lite accounts, though it only applies to account sizes up to $50K and excludes the $100K and $200K tiers.
Existing CFD users get a separate code, AUG15, for 15% off their next Stellar purchase, valid on all Stellar models and account sizes with unlimited redemptions.
On futures, the current discount codes are NEW55, taking up to 55% off Flex for new users, and RAPID, taking up to 50% off Rapid for new users. Existing users can receive up to 43% off Rapid.
Discount codes rotate periodically, so it’s worth checking the live checkout page in case a newer code has replaced these by the time you’re purchasing.
How FundedNext Works
CFD
This section covers FundedNext’s CFD side only. The Futures side runs on a completely different rule set and platform, so the two are covered separately below.
On the CFD side, FundedNext offers four account types, ranging from a two phase evaluation for traders who want to take it slow, to an instant funding option for traders who’d rather skip the evaluation stage entirely.
Stellar 2-Step
Stellar 2-Step is FundedNext’s flagship two-phase model and the one most traders default to. It comes with the most forgiving loss limits of the four CFD models and refunds the challenge fee with the first funded reward, earlier than the several-cycle wait at most firms.
| Rules | Limit |
|---|---|
| Phase 1 profit target | 8% |
| Phase 2 profit target | 5% |
| Maximum daily loss | 5% |
| Maximum overall loss | 10% |
| Drawdown type | Static |
| Minimum trading days | 5 |
| News trading | Allowed (restricted profit rule applies once funded) |
| Weekend holding | Allowed |
| Performance reward (challenge) | 15% cash bonus on challenge profit |
| Reward share | 80%, up to 95% with add-on |
| First withdrawal | 21 days |
| Refundable fee | With 1st reward |
| Reset applicable | Yes |
Stellar 1-Step
Stellar 1-Step strips the process down to a single phase and a single profit target, making it the fastest route to a funded account on paper. The catch is a noticeably tighter daily and overall loss limit than the 2-Step, plus a refund that only kicks in after the third funded reward instead of the first.
| Rules | Limit |
|---|---|
| Profit target | 10% |
| Maximum daily loss | 3% |
| Maximum overall loss | 6% |
| Drawdown type | Static |
| Minimum trading days | 2 |
| News trading | Allowed (restricted profit rule applies once funded) |
| Weekend holding | Allowed |
| Performance reward (challenge) | 15% cash bonus on challenge profit |
| Reward share | 80%, up to 95% with add-on |
| First withdrawal | 5 business days |
| Refundable fee | At 3rd reward |
| Reset applicable | Yes |
Stellar Lite
Stellar Lite keeps the same two phase structure as the 2-Step but at a noticeably lower entry price, aimed at traders who want to start with less capital committed upfront. The catch is that it drops the 15% challenge phase bonus entirely, something every other evaluation model on FundedNext includes.
| Rules | Limit |
|---|---|
| Phase 1 profit target | 8% |
| Phase 2 profit target | 4% |
| Maximum daily loss | 4% |
| Maximum overall loss | 8% |
| Drawdown type | Static |
| Minimum trading days | 5 |
| News trading | Allowed (restricted profit rule applies once funded) |
| Weekend holding | Allowed |
| Performance reward (challenge) | None |
| Reward share | 80%, up to 95% with add-on |
| First withdrawal | 21 days |
| Refundable fee | At 3rd reward |
| Reset applicable | Yes |
Stellar Instant
Stellar Instant skips the evaluation altogether. There’s no profit target and no minimum trading days, and traders start on a funded account from the moment they purchase it. It also has no daily loss limit at all, though that comes paired with a trailing overall loss limit, where the other three models use static ones, and a lower reward share ceiling than the rest of the lineup.
| Rules | Limit |
|---|---|
| Profit target | None |
| Maximum daily loss | None |
| Maximum overall loss | 6% (Trailing) |
| Drawdown type | Trailing |
| Consistency rule | None |
| Minimum trading days | None |
| News trading | Allowed (restricted profit rule applies) |
| Weekend holding | Allowed |
| Reward share | Up to 80% |
| First withdrawal | On demand or bi-weekly |
| Refundable fee | None |
| Reset applicable | Yes |
All four CFD models support resets.
Futures
FundedNext’s futures side runs on a completely different rulebook from the CFD side, built around end-of-day trailing drawdown, not the static or trailing loss limits used on Stellar accounts. There are four account types to pick from: Flex, Legacy, and Rapid, with Rapid splitting further into a Pro and a Daily variant depending on how a trader wants to get paid.
Flex
Flex suits traders who meet the following criteria.
- You want the highest reward share on the futures side, 95%
- You don’t want a daily loss limit to manage on top of the overall one
- You don’t want a consistency rule once funded
- You want the cheapest entry point into FundedNext futures
| Rule | Challenge | Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $2,500 / $5,000 / $8,000 (50K / 100K / 150K) | No fixed target |
| Daily loss limit | None | None |
| Maximum loss limit (EOD) | $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,000 | Same as challenge, per account size |
| Consistency rule | 40% | None |
| News trading | Allowed | Allowed |
| Contract limit | 3, 5, 8 minis or 30, 50, 80 micros | Same as challenge |
Legacy
Legacy suits traders who meet the following criteria.
- You want the highest per-cycle withdrawal cap of the three models, up to $6,000
- You don’t mind working toward benchmark days for withdrawal eligibility instead of a fixed reward schedule
- You want no daily loss limit at either stage
| Rule | Challenge | Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $1,250 / $3,000 / $6,000 (25K / 50K / 100K) | No fixed target |
| Daily loss limit | None | None |
| Maximum loss limit (EOD) | $1,000 / $2,000 / $3,000 | Same as challenge, per account size |
| Consistency rule | 40% | None |
| News trading | Allowed | Allowed |
| Contract limit | 2, 3, 5 minis or 20, 30, 50 micros | 3, 5, 7 minis or 30, 50, 70 micros |
Rapid Pro
Rapid Pro suits traders who meet the following criteria.
- You want the fastest possible pass, one day is enough
- You don’t want any consistency requirement to worry about during the challenge
- You’re comfortable trading around a 40% consistency rule once funded instead
- You want payouts every 3 days without needing to clear benchmark days first
| Rule | Challenge | Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $1,500 / $3,000 / $5,000 (25K / 50K / 100K) | No fixed target |
| Daily loss limit | None | None |
| Maximum loss limit (EOD) | $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 | Same as challenge, per account size |
| Consistency rule | None | 40% |
| News trading | Allowed | Allowed |
| Contract limit | 2, 4, 6 minis or 20, 40, 60 micros | Same as challenge |
Rapid Daily
Rapid Daily suits traders who meet the following criteria.
- You want payouts daily instead of waiting on a fixed cycle
- You don’t want any consistency rule at either stage
- You can manage a daily loss limit alongside the overall one
- You thrive on catching frequent moves instead of sitting on one big swing
| Rule | Challenge | Funded |
|---|---|---|
| Profit target | $1,500 / $3,000 / $5,000 (25K / 50K / 100K) | No fixed target |
| Daily loss limit | None | $500 / $1,000 / $1,250 |
| Maximum loss limit (EOD) | $1,000 / $2,000 / $2,500 | Same as challenge, per account size |
| Consistency rule | None | None |
| News trading | Allowed | Allowed |
| Contract limit | 2, 4, 6 minis or 20, 40, 60 micros | Same as challenge |
FundedNext Rules and Restrictions
CFD
Here’s a breakdown of the most important rules that apply across FundedNext’s CFD accounts.
Maximum Daily Loss
The daily loss limit resets every day and is calculated off the initial account balance, not intraday equity. Both floating and closed losses count toward it. It applies to Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step, and Lite (5%, 3%, and 4% respectively), while Stellar Instant carries no daily loss limit whatsoever.
On a Stellar 2-Step $50K account, the daily loss limit is fixed at 5% of the $50,000 initial balance, or $2,500, every trading day the account is active. If the trader is already up $1,000 in profit by midday, that day’s loss limit rises to $3,500, but it always resets back to the flat $2,500 figure the next day rather than trailing off the previous day’s closing balance.
Maximum Overall Loss
On Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step, and Lite, the overall loss limit is static, fixed a set percentage below the starting balance and never adjusting no matter how much profit the account makes.
On a Stellar 1-Step $15K account, the maximum loss limit is fixed at 6% below the starting balance, or $900. That floor sits at $14,100 from the moment the account opens and stays there permanently, whether the account is up $3,000 or flat at breakeven.
Stellar Instant is the exception here. It uses a trailing 6% floor that rises with the account’s peak equity but never moves back down. There was some confusion regarding whether this is EOD (end-of-day) drawdown or intraday, and whether it calculates unrealized gains, as is the case in Futures, since the website doesn’t make it clear.
FundedNext support clarified that the trailing floor updates in real time rather than only at end of day, but it only moves up when the account’s actual balance reaches a new high through closed trades. Floating profit on an open position never raises the ceiling, even temporarily, and a trade that closes at breakeven or a loss leaves the floor exactly where it was.
On a Stellar Instant $20K account, suppose a trade runs to $200 in floating profit before being closed at breakeven. Since the balance never actually increased, the trailing floor stays at its previous level. If the trader then closes a separate trade for a real $500 profit, pushing the balance to a new high of $20,500, the floor rises 6% below that figure, to $19,270. Only closed trades that set a new balance high move the ceiling. Floating gains, breakeven closes, and losing trades all leave it untouched.
Maximum Risk Exposure
Once an account is funded, every FundedNext model applies a 3% risk cap on any single position, measured by stop-loss distance and position size against the starting balance. The first violation triggers a warning and strips any profit made on the flagged trade. A second violation permanently cuts the allowable risk ceiling to 1%.
A flagged trade on a $100K funded account that nets $500 in profit before the stop-loss violation is caught loses that $500 from the reward for the cycle.
News Trading
News trading carries no restrictions during any evaluation phase across all four models. Once funded, a News Profit Split Rule applies instead: trades opened or closed within 5 minutes before or after a high-impact release only count 40% of their profit toward the account, while losses during that window still apply in full.
A funded trader who closes a EUR/USD position 3 minutes after a high-impact USD release for a $200 profit receives only $80 toward the account balance.
In my experience, this is better than FundingPips, where the same mistake can strip an entire trade’s profit or even trigger a hard breach on Zero (instant funding) accounts.
Weekend and Overnight Holding
Overnight holding on weeknights is allowed across every model at every stage. Weekend holding is also allowed on both challenge and funded accounts across all four Stellar models, though swap charges apply over the weekend and count toward the daily loss limit.
40% Consistency Rule
FundedNext offers an On-Demand Reward add-on, priced at an extra 5% of the challenge fee. It unlocks the ability to request a reward as soon as the account has grown 2%, with no wait for a fixed weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly cycle. The catch is that it comes bundled with a 40% consistency rule, meaning no single day’s profit can exceed 40% of total profit on the FundedNext Account.
This is the same style of consistency rule that shows up across FundedNext’s futures products, just applied here as an opt-in choice on the CFD side, not a rule baked into the account by default.
Futures
Futures rules run differently from the CFD side in a few key ways, and we’ve explained all of them here.
Consistency Rule
The consistency rule works differently depending on whether it’s applied during the challenge or on a funded account. During the challenge, it caps any single day’s profit at 40% of the total profit target. Breaching it doesn’t fail the challenge, it just recalculates the target upward.
On a Legacy $50K challenge, the profit target is $3,000, so the daily cap sits at $1,200. If a trader earns $1,500 in one day, that exceeds the cap, so the new required target becomes $1,500 ÷ 0.40, or $3,750, up from the original $3,000.
Once funded, the calculation shifts to compare the single best day against total accumulated profit instead of a fixed target, and this version only applies to Rapid Pro among the three models.
On a funded Rapid Pro account, a trader’s best single day is $600, against $1,200 in total profit so far. That’s 50%, above the 40% limit, so a withdrawal isn’t yet eligible. Once total profit grows to $2,000 without a bigger single day, the same $600 now represents 30%, and the consistency requirement is met.
Benchmark Days
A benchmark day is a trading day where a trader clears a minimum profit threshold set by account size. There’s no benchmark requirement during the challenge phase on any model. Flex and Legacy both require 5 benchmark days before a withdrawal becomes eligible, while Rapid has no benchmark day requirement at all.
On a Legacy $50K funded account, a benchmark day requires at least $200 in profit. A trader needs 5 such days, not necessarily consecutive, before the first withdrawal can be requested.
Maximum Withdrawal
Each model caps how much can be withdrawn per payout cycle, and the cap scales with account size. Flex and Legacy both tie this to a percentage of accumulated profit, while Rapid uses a flat cap regardless of how much profit has built up.
On a Legacy $100K funded account, up to 50% of accumulated profit can be withdrawn per cycle, capped at $6,000. A trader sitting on $10,000 in profit can withdraw $5,000, since that’s under the cap, but a trader sitting on $15,000 is still limited to the $6,000 ceiling regardless of how much profit has accumulated beyond that.
Fixed Contract Limits
FundedNext doesn’t scale contract limits with profit inside the funded stage. The limit is fixed the moment an account is created, based on model, size, and stage, and it stays there regardless of how much the balance grows.
This is actually a point in FundedNext’s favor. Rival firms like Lucid Trading tie contract size to a profit ladder, starting traders on a single mini contract and only unlocking more size once specific profit tiers are cleared. That structure can make the early stretch of a funded account frustratingly slow, since the position sizing needed to grow the account meaningfully is locked behind the very profit that size would help generate. FundedNext skips that altogether.
End-of-Day Trailing Drawdown
Every futures account, on both the challenge and once funded, runs on the same end-of-day (EOD) trailing drawdown. The maximum loss limit updates once per day based on the highest balance the account closed at, not on intraday highs. It trails upward with profit and never moves back down with losses, and it only recalculates at the end of the trading session rather than in real time.
On a Legacy $100K account with a $3,000 maximum loss limit, the floor starts at $97,000. The trader closes a day up $1,000, taking the balance to $101,000. At the end of day, the floor recalculates to $98,000. The trader then closes another day up $2,000, taking the balance to $103,000. Since the floor would now land exactly on the $100,000 starting balance, it locks there permanently and stops trailing further, even if the balance keeps climbing.
Flex and both Rapid variants work slightly differently: the floor locks at the initial balance plus $100, not exactly at the starting balance, a small buffer built into those three models specifically.
News Trading
Unlike the CFD side, futures accounts carry no news trading restrictions at all, at either stage. Positions can be opened, closed, or held through NFP, CPI, FOMC, or any other high-impact release without a profit split penalty or timing window to work around.
Weekend and Overnight Holding
Futures accounts don’t allow overnight or weekend holding on any model, at either stage. All open positions are automatically closed at 3:10 PM Central Time each trading day, with trading resuming at 5:00 PM CT. After the weekend, trading resumes Sunday at 5:00 PM CT. This is the opposite of the CFD side, where overnight and weekend holding are both permitted.
| Rule | Limit | Consequence | Applies To |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maximum risk exposure per position | 3% | Applies on every model once funded, measured by stop-loss distance and position size against the starting balance. A first breach logs a warning and strips the profit made on the flagged trade. A second breach permanently cuts the allowable risk ceiling to 1%. | Funded |
| News Profit Split Rule | 40% | CFD funded accounts only, and futures carries no equivalent. Trades opened or closed within 5 minutes either side of a high-impact release count only 40% of their profit toward the balance, while losses in that window count in full. | Funded |
| 40% consistency rule | 40% | Not a default on CFD, where it arrives bundled with the optional On-Demand Reward add-on priced at 5% of the challenge fee. On futures, Flex and Legacy apply it during the challenge only, Rapid Pro applies it once funded instead, and Rapid Daily carries none. A breach during a futures challenge does not fail the account, it recalculates the profit target upward. On a funded Rapid Pro account it blocks a withdrawal until total profit grows enough to bring the best single day back under 40%. | Program Dependent |
| Benchmark days before withdrawal | 5 trading days | Futures only, and none apply during the challenge. Flex and Legacy each require 5 benchmark days before a withdrawal is eligible, and Rapid requires none. A benchmark day clears a minimum profit set by account size: $100 on Legacy 25K and $200 on 50K and 100K, or $200 on Flex 50K and 100K rising to $250 at 150K. A withdrawal cannot be requested until they are cleared, and on Legacy the withdrawal cap lifts after 30 of them. | Funded |
| Maximum withdrawal per cycle | 0 Futures only, $800 to $6,000 per cycle by model and account size | Futures only. Flex pays up to $1,500, $2,500 or $4,000 per cycle by account size. Legacy pays up to 50% of accumulated profit, capped at $3,000 on 25K or $6,000 on 50K and 100K. Both Rapid variants cap at $800, $1,200 or $2,500. Every futures model also needs $500 of cycle profit before a request. Profit above the cap stays in the account for a later cycle. | Funded |
| Fixed contract limits | 0 Set at account creation by model, size and stage, and do not scale with profit | Futures contract limits are set at account creation by model, size and stage, and never scale with profit inside the funded stage. There is no published breach mechanic — the limit does not rise as the balance grows, unlike firms that tie contract size to a profit ladder. | All Stages |

FundedNext Pricing and Account Sizes
CFD
FundedNext charges a one-time challenge fee per account with no recurring subscription, similar to most CFD prop firms. Pricing scales with account size and varies slightly by model, since each comes with a different rule set and reward structure.
| Account Size | Stellar 2-Step | Stellar 1-Step | Stellar Lite | Stellar Instant |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $2K | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered | $59.99 |
| $5K | Not offered | Not offered | $32.99 | $149.99 |
| $6K | $59.99 | $65.99 | Not offered | Not offered |
| $10K | Not offered | Not offered | $59.99 | $299.99 |
| $15K | $119.99 | $129.99 | Not offered | Not offered |
| $20K | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered | $599.99 |
| $25K | $199.99 | $219.99 | $139.99 | Not offered |
| $50K | $299.99 | $329.99 | $229.99 | Not offered |
| $100K | $549.99 | $569.99 | $399.99 | Not offered |
| $200K | $1,099.99 | $1,099.99 | $798.99 | Not offered |
Stellar 2-Step refunds the challenge fee with the first funded reward. 1-Step and Lite refund it at the third reward instead. Stellar Instant offers no refund at all, since there’s no challenge fee tied to an evaluation in the first place.
FundedNext CFD offers a lot of add-ons, including a 95% lifetime reward split for an extra 30%, no minimum trading days for an extra 25%, no swap charges for an extra 10%, and a bi-weekly reward cycle for an extra 25%. There’s also an option to pay 40% more and get a second challenge account free once the original challenge phase is passed, through the Double Up add-on.
A 150% reward add-on is available too, paying 150% of the subscription fee back as a bonus at the first or third reward, for an extra 10%. This is great, but stacking multiple add-ons adds up quickly in cost, so it’s a route we’d only recommend to experienced traders who already know which of these actually fit their trading style instead of buying every option available.
Platform choice also affects which add-ons are available. EA and VPS & EA aren’t offered at all when cTrader or Match-Trader is selected as the platform, they’re MT4 and MT5-only add-ons.
Futures
| Account Size | Flex | Legacy | Rapid Pro | Rapid Daily |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $25K | Not offered | $79.99 | $79.99 | $79.99 |
| $50K | $69.99 | $199.99 | $169.99 | $169.99 |
| $100K | $129.99 | $239.99 | $279.99 | $279.99 |
| $150K | $249.99 | Not offered | Not offered | Not offered |
One more thing worth flagging on Rapid: traders can opt into a Daily Loss Limit add-on at checkout, even though Rapid doesn’t carry one by default. Selecting it knocks $20 off the 25K account, $40 off the 50K, and $50 off the 100K, and once chosen, it applies to both the challenge and the funded account, not just one stage. It’s an unusual swap since most add-ons remove restrictions for a fee, but this one goes the other way, trading a lower price for a tighter rulebook.
FundedNext Payouts and Profit Split
CFD
The Performance Reward is one of FundedNext’s more distinctive features, since not every prop firm pays traders during the evaluation itself. Stellar 2-Step and Stellar 1-Step both pay a one-time cash bonus equal to 15% of the profit made during the challenge phase, credited alongside the first funded reward.
Combined with the challenge fee refund, this puts traders meaningfully in profit right from their first payout. Stellar Lite does not include this bonus, and neither does Stellar Instant, since it has no challenge phase to begin with.
The reward shares follow this structure.
A paid add-on can push the reward share as high as 95% on the three evaluation models, ahead of hitting the standard Scale-Up thresholds.
FundedNext runs its accounts through a Scale-Up Plan reviewed every four consecutive months. Traders who post at least 10% cumulative growth over that window, with the final trading cycle ending in profit, qualify for a 40% increase to their account balance, up to a cap of $4 million in simulated capital.
Futures
| Account | Benchmark Days | Daily Benchmark | Minimum Cycle Profit | Max Withdrawal | Reward Share |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Flex | 5, before every withdrawal | $200 (50K/100K), $250 (150K) | $500 | $1,500 / $2,500 / $4,000 per cycle | 95% |
| Legacy | 5, before each withdrawal, cap lifts after 30 | $100 (25K), $200 (50K/100K) | $500 | 50% of profit, capped at $3,000 (25K) or $6,000 (50K/100K) | 80% |
| Rapid Pro | None | N/A | $500 | $800 / $1,200 / $2,500 per cycle, every 3 days | 90% |
| Rapid Daily | None | N/A | $500 | $800 / $1,200 / $2,500 per cycle, daily | 90% |
Payout Methods
Withdrawals are requested directly from the account dashboard once a trading cycle is complete and all profitability criteria are met, confirmed with an OTP. FundedNext offers a wide spread of methods: USDT (ERC20 and TRC20), USDC (ERC20), Confirmo, RiseWorks, bank transfer, and a direct deposit option into FNmarkets.
Traders in Iran are the one exception, limited to TC Pay only for Performance Reward requests. Any transfer gateway charges are borne by the trader, not deducted automatically by FundedNext. Requests are typically processed within 24 hours once submitted.
- Scale-Up Plan — reviewed every four consecutive months, requiring 10% cumulative growth with the final cycle ending in profit, and adding 40% to the balance: 90%
- Reward-share add-on, which lifts the split ahead of the standard Scale-Up thresholds: 95%
- Ceiling — $4,000,000 in simulated capital: 95%
Platforms and Trading Conditions
CFD
FundedNext CFD accounts run on MT4, MT5, cTrader, and Match-Trader, though platform availability depends on account size. Accounts up to $50K on Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step, and Lite include MT4 and MT5 as standard, with cTrader or Match-Trader available for an extra $25 each. On the $100K and $200K tiers, and across every Stellar Instant account regardless of size, the choice narrows to MT4 and MT5 only, with no cTrader or Match-Trader option at all.
Leverage varies by model and asset class, with no single flat number covering everything:
- Stellar 2-Step and Stellar Lite: Forex at 1:100. Indices and commodities at 1:25 during the challenge, dropping to 1:15 once funded. Crypto at 1:1.
- Stellar 1-Step: Forex at 1:30 and Indices at 1:10 throughout. Commodities at 1:15 during the challenge, dropping to 1:10 once funded. Crypto at 1:1.
- Stellar Instant: Forex at 1:30, indices at 1:5, commodities at 1:7.5, and crypto at 1:1, the tightest leverage structure of the four models.
Futures
FundedNext Futures runs on Tradovate and NinjaTrader, with TradingView available as a charting front end that routes execution back through Tradovate. That combination suits the offer because these three are the most widely used platforms in futures prop trading.
Where it falls a little short is platform variety. Firms like Lucid and Tradeify have expanded well beyond Tradovate and NinjaTrader by adding Rithmic connectivity, which opens the door to platforms like Quantower, MotiveWave, and TradeSea. That matters most to order flow traders and anyone running lower-latency, professional-grade execution tools, since Rithmic-based platforms tend to serve that crowd better than Tradovate does.
Is FundedNext Legit and Safe?
FundedNext offers fair trading conditions, and traders report being paid across both its CFD and futures products. It’s a real, operating company. FundedNext trades as GrowthNext F.Z.E. (Business Registration No. 28831), registered in the Ajman Free Zone, UAE, with a subsidiary, Incenteco Trading LTD, handling payments. It has been operating since March 2022, putting it at roughly four years in business as of mid-2026.
On Trustpilot, FundedNext holds a 4.5/5 rating across more than 70,000 reviews, one of the larger review datasets in the prop trading category. FundedNext’s own site reports more than $336 million paid out to traders. That figure is the firm’s own and is classed CLAIMED, not independently verified. What can be checked is the term attached to it: a 24-hour payout guarantee carrying a $1,000 penalty when a deadline is missed, published up front instead of buried in support tickets.
Granted, FundedNext is not a regulated broker, since prop firms trade simulated capital instead of holding client funds the way a broker does, but it doesn’t claim to be regulated either.
FundedNext Alternatives
FundedNext isn’t the only option in either the CFD or futures prop trading space, and every firm we cover sits on the prop firm hub, and depending on which side of the business matters more, a competitor might be a better fit. Here are three rivals, split by product, and where each has a real edge.
- The5ers (CryptoSlate score 7.1): Beats FundedNext CFD if long-term scaling and profit split ceiling matter most. Its scaling plan can push the profit split as high as 100% over time, and it has been operating since 2016, four years longer than FundedNext. It also has a higher Trustpilot rating (4.9 vs. 4.5).
- Lucid (not yet rated): Beats FundedNext Futures if platform variety and payout speed matter most. Lucid connects through both Tradovate and Rithmic, opening access to TradeSea, Quantower, and MotiveWave, and its payout processing can run under 15 minutes, well inside FundedNext’s 24-hour guarantee window.
- Tradeify (not yet rated): Beats FundedNext Futures if a higher, simpler profit split matters most. Tradeify pays a flat 90% across its lineup with fewer minimum trading days, and carries a slightly higher Trustpilot rating.
Final Verdict
FundedNext covers both CFDs and futures under one firm, four models on each side, with fees from $32.99 and a 24-hour payout guarantee carrying a $1,000 penalty when it is missed. The CFD side is unusually permissive, with no consistency rule on any of the four models and both news trading and weekend holding left open, while futures runs end-of-day trailing drawdown throughout and closes every position overnight. The payout record rests on the firm's own $336 million figure, which is why that pillar does not take top marks.
24-hour payout or $1,000 compensation · CFD and futures under one firm · No consistency rule on any CFD model
Prop-firm fees are at risk, most participants do not reach a payout, and simulated funding does not necessarily represent live firm capital. This review is informational, not financial advice.
Evaluation trading carries a substantial risk of losing the fees paid. You can lose the fees paid without ever reaching a payout, and most participants never reach one. Simulated accounts are not deposits of real trading capital, and nothing on this page is financial advice. Figures come from the firm's own pages and can change without notice. CryptoSlate may earn a commission through links on this page and may receive complimentary evaluation accounts for testing. Compensation and complimentary access never affect review scores.
Scoring methodology
The overall score is calculated from seven fixed categories whose weights remain consistent across prop-firm reviews.
| Category | Weight | Assessment | Score |
|---|---|---|---|
| Payout Reliability and Evidence | 25% | The $336M+ total is the firm's own figure and stays CLAIMED. What is checkable is the 24-hour guarantee with a $1,000 penalty. No independent payout evidence exists. | 8.5 out of 10 |
| Rules Fairness and Transparency | 20% | Everything's documented, but there's a lot to keep track of if you’re trading both CFDs and Futures. | 8.0 out of 10 |
| Cost and Value | 15% | Both CFD and Futures products are competitively priced, and very close to the cheapest in the industry. | 9.0 out of 10 |
| Trading Conditions | 15% | On par with rivals in futures and better than most in CFD, with no consistency, news or overnight holding restrictions. Platform choice is the one weak spot. | 8.0 out of 10 |
| Profit Split and Scaling | 10% | Up to 95% split on CFD and Flex futures, and CFD scaling goes as high as $4M. Competitive on both sides. | 9.0 out of 10 |

FAQ
FundedNext FAQs
Is FundedNext a scam?
FundedNext is one of the more established prop firms trading both CFDs and futures in 2026. It’s been operating since 2022, with a payout total the firm reports itself and a 4.5/5 Trustpilot rating across more than 70,000 reviews. It’s not a regulated broker, but it doesn’t claim to be one either.
Which FundedNext account is easiest to pass?
On the CFD side, Stellar 1-Step has the loosest structural requirements, a single evaluation phase and only 2 minimum trading days. On futures, Rapid Pro and Rapid Daily carry no consistency rule during the challenge and no daily loss limit by default, making them the fastest realistic pass among the futures models.
Is the FundedNext drawdown static or trailing?
Both, depending on which side you trade. On CFD, Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite all use a static floor fixed a set percentage below the starting balance, and it never moves. Stellar Instant is the exception, trailing at 6% against the highest balance the account has closed at. Every futures model uses end-of-day trailing, recalculating once a day off the highest closing balance. Check which one your model uses before sizing risk, because the two behave very differently once an account is in profit.
How fast does FundedNext pay out?
FundedNext backs a 24-hour payout guarantee across both CFD and futures accounts. If a payout isn’t processed within that window, the trader receives an extra $1,000 on top of the reward itself, a structural incentive most competitors don’t offer.
What is the FundedNext profit split?
CFD accounts start at 80% and move to 90% once the Scale-Up plan is cleared, with a paid add-on lifting it to 95% ahead of the standard thresholds. Futures splits are fixed per model: 95% on Flex, 90% on both Rapid variants and 80% on Legacy.
Does FundedNext refund the challenge fee?
On three of the four CFD models. Stellar 2-Step returns it with the very first funded reward, which is early for the category. Stellar 1-Step and Stellar Lite both return it at the third reward. Stellar Instant carries no refund at all, since there is no evaluation phase attached to the fee.
Does FundedNext allow news trading?
There are no news trading restrictions at all, whether it’s a CFD or futures account. That said, CFD funded accounts carry a News Profit Split Rule, where only 40% of profit made within 5 minutes of a high-impact release counts toward the balance. There’s no such rule on futures accounts.
Is there a consistency rule at FundedNext?
Not by default on the CFD side, though the optional On-Demand Reward add-on bundles in a 40% single-day profit cap. On the futures side, Flex and Legacy apply a 40% consistency rule during the challenge only, Rapid Pro applies it once funded instead, and Rapid Daily carries none at all.
Can you hold trades over the weekend on FundedNext?
On CFD, yes, at every stage and on all four Stellar models, though swap charges apply over the weekend and count toward the daily loss limit. On futures, no. Every position closes automatically at 3:10 PM Central Time each day, with trading resuming at 5:00 PM CT and again Sunday at 5:00 PM CT after the weekend.
What platforms does FundedNext support?
CFD accounts run on MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader, though availability narrows as account size grows. Accounts up to $50K on Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite include MT4 and MT5, with cTrader or Match-Trader available for $25 each. The $100K and $200K tiers, plus every Stellar Instant account, are limited to MT4 and MT5. Futures runs on Tradovate and NinjaTrader, with TradingView available as a charting front end that routes execution back through Tradovate.
What is the FundedNext discount code?
NEW25 takes 25% off a first CFD challenge on Stellar 2-Step, 1-Step and Lite, capped at account sizes up to $50K. Existing CFD customers use AUG15 for 15% off any Stellar purchase with no size limit and unlimited redemptions. On futures, NEW55 takes up to 55% off Flex and RAPID takes up to 50% off Rapid. Codes rotate periodically, so check the live checkout before buying.
