Binance Wallet brings self-custody and Web3 access into the app ecosystem operated by Binance. It lets users hold onchain assets, swap tokens, move across supported networks, and connect to decentralized apps from within Binance’s broader app and wallet environment.
The mobile wallet uses a keyless MPC design that requires two of three key shares. With the personal-cloud backup method, Binance holds one share, the device stores another, and a recovery password encrypts the share backed up to iCloud or Google Drive. If the device is lost, that cloud backup and password can be used with Binance’s share to restore access. Quick Backup uses a different recovery route: a third-party provider stores an encrypted backup, and access depends on Binance verification without a recovery password. Recovery requirements therefore depend on the selected backup method.
Access to this hot wallet depends on Binance’s app, account system and regional availability. For BNB wallet use, that means checking Binance eligibility as well as network support. Users can access swaps and dApps through the app, but must check smart-contract approvals before signing.
