Morgan Stanley leads Solana ETF $9 million inflows as SOL jumps rises above $100

The US funds are on course for their strongest week of 2026 after drawing $74.8 million in just three sessions.

Quick Take

  1. US Solana ETFs attracted $9.1 million on Aug. 26, led by Morgan Stanley’s MSOL with approximately $5.5 million.
  2. Weekly inflows reached $74.8 million, putting the funds on course for their strongest 2026 performance and lifting August subscriptions above $113 million.
  3. SOL reclaimed $100 alongside the inflows, but whether demand can sustain the recovery remains unresolved after the latest daily pace cooled.

US Solana exchange-traded funds (ETFs) attracted about $9.1 million in net inflows on Aug. 26, led by Morgan Stanley’s MSOL.

SoSoValue data showed MSOL drew roughly $5.5 million, accounting for about 60% of Wednesday’s total. Bitwise’s BSOL added $2.6 million, while VanEck’s VSOL took in about $1 million.

The latest intake extended a strong run for Solana-focused funds, even as the daily pace cooled from two much larger sessions. The products attracted more than $65 million across Aug. 24 and 25, including $33.5 million, their largest single-day inflow of the year.

The surge in subscriptions has also been accompanied by heavier trading activity.

On Aug. 24, Bitwise President Teddy Fusaro said that BSOL recorded the highest-volume session for any Solana ETF, with more than $108 million changing hands in a single day and over $261 million traded across four sessions.

Notably, total Solana ETF trading volume reached about $166.8 million on the same day, which is also a record.

Including Wednesday's latest inflow, Solana ETFs have now drawn roughly $74.8 million this week, putting them on course for their strongest weekly performance of 2026 and their best since the week ending Nov. 28, 2025.

The sustained demand has lifted August inflows to about $113 million. The products have recorded only one daily net outflow this month, on Aug. 6, leaving the monthly total just below May’s roughly $115 million, currently the strongest month of the year.

Solana ETFs have attracted about $1.26 billion in cumulative net inflows since launch and manage roughly the same amount in assets.

The demand for regulated exposure has risen alongside a sharp recovery in SOL itself.

CryptoSlate data shows the token reclaimed $100 for the first time since February and climbed as high as about $105 during the last 24 hours. This is its strongest price level since January and has pushed its market capitalization above $60 billion.

SOL has gained roughly 43% in August as the broader crypto market rallied following changes to US Treasury bond buyback policy that eased pressure on longer-term yields. Bitcoin subsequently climbed above $81,000, while Ethereum moved past $2,500.

The rally has encouraged increasingly bullish forecasts for Solana, with analysts pointing to stronger activity across the network as another potential source of support.

The blockchain has recently recorded about 5 million daily active addresses, adding to expectations that SOL could continue recovering toward levels last seen before its prolonged decline.
