What readers can expect

  • Independent reporting free from project, investor, or advertiser influence.
  • Claims checked against primary sources, datasets, and corroborating evidence.
  • Clear disclosures, distinct content labels, and prompt, visible corrections.

What we require

  • Contributors disclose relevant holdings, interests, and relationships.
  • Editors review sourcing, accuracy, balance, context, and sensitive claims.
  • Commercial content is labeled; deceptive or guaranteed-return ads are rejected.

Independence & conflicts

CryptoSlate is independently operated in the United States and is not controlled by any crypto project or protocol.

Contributors must disclose material holdings or relationships connected to their coverage, and readers see those disclosures wherever relevant. News, analysis, and opinion remain distinct editorial formats.

Independent ownership
Editorial decisions remain with the newsroom.
Conflicts disclosed
Relevant holdings and relationships are identified for readers.

Sourcing & verification

We prioritize original documents, reputable agencies, licensed datasets, on-chain data, and on-the-record statements, linking to source material whenever it is available.

Editors validate datasets, quotes, and claims before publication. Our newsroom spans time zones to support 24/7 coverage, and sensitive stories receive fact-checking, editorial review, and compliance sign-off.

Primary evidence first
Documents, data, and direct statements anchor our reporting.
Multi-layer review
Sensitive stories receive additional editorial and compliance review.

Labels & commercial separation

News, analysis, opinion, sponsored posts, and press releases are identified by content type. Commercial relationships do not determine what the newsroom covers or how that coverage is framed.

CryptoSlate does not accept guaranteed-return projects, deceptive marketing, or anonymous teams as advertisers. Sponsored content is clearly identified, and properly licensed imagery is credited to its creator.

Paid content labeled
Readers can distinguish commercial material from newsroom reporting.
Attribution respected
Sources and licensed creative work receive clear credit.

Corrections & reader feedback

When material facts change or an error is confirmed, we update the article promptly and maintain a visible changelog so readers can follow the revision.

We welcome third-party audits, corrections, source material, and whistleblower tips.

Material corrections noted
Substantive revisions remain visible to readers.
Feedback welcomed
Readers and sources can help us improve the record.
