Mantle Staked Ether ($mETH)

Mantle Staked Ether ($mETH) serves as the value-accumulating receipt token of Mantle LSP. It represents a claim to the underlying staked Ether and accumulated rewards.

Staking Process

Mantle LSP facilitates the pooling of Ether deposits from stakers, enabling their participation in the rewards generated by Ethereum's proof-of-stake (PoS) validation network. Stakers receive the $mETH receipt token, which can be utilized in other applications.

Unstaking and Rewards\

When stakers unstake their Ether from Mantle LSP, they will receive not only the sum of their staked Ether, but also any rewards gained from their staked funds during the staking period. These rewards may include a combination of issuance, priority fees, and maximal extractible value (MEV), which are shared among the stakers, the LSP, and the node operator (validation service provider).
