Ethereum-based liquid staking solution Lido announces the integration of Chainlink Price Feeds
Set to expand the utility of Lido’s staked assets, the platform announced the first in a row of Chainlink Price Feeds.

Tracking Chainlink’s oracle technology, partnerships, and role in securing decentralized finance.

The native integration with Chainlink oracle services enables EVM developers in the Kusama ecosystem to use external data resources and off-chain computations for building DeFi applications.

Chainlink nodes will provide appraisal data sourced from world-class global real estate consultancies such as CBRE, Savills, Knight Frank, JLL, and Cushman & Wakefield.

Chainlink VRF works by combining block data that is still unknown when the request is made with the oracle node's pre-committed private key to generate both a random number and a cryptographic proof.

The integration will enable transaction automation services for smart contracts, allowing decentralized apps (dapps) to operate without the need for manual intervention or centralized infrastructure.

Chainlink Price Feeds are the industry standard for secure and reliable price oracles, already helping secure tens of billions of dollars across top DeFi projects.

Price feeds powered by the world’s largest decentralized oracle network are now securing smart contracts across numerous leading blockchains.
