Gamium Corp token (GMM) rose over 600% in the last 24 hours to a new all-time high of $0.00437 in the previous 24 hours, according to CryptoSlate’s data. The token’s value had retraced to $0.00299 at press time.

The surge in price follows from the protocol scoring a collaboration with Meta and a misconstruction of a Binance tweet from community members.

Gamium, Meta collaboration

On Feb. 27, Gamium revealed a collaboration with Meta and Telefonica through the tech giants’ Metaverse Activation Programme.

The Web3 protocol said the collaboration would give it access to Meta’s technologies and expert support sessions.

The program’s website added that the selected startups could “explore business development opportunities with Meta and Telefónica, as well as access to Telefónica’s open innovation ecosystem and potential investment.”

Gamium Co-CEO ALberto Rosas said:

“Working alongside Meta’s AI team has been a great experience – together, we’ve built technology to make Web3 and the Metaverse more accessible.”

Binance tweets GMM

Meanwhile, Gamium’s collaboration announcement coincided with Binance’s Feb. 27 “gmm” tweet.

While the Binance tweet was an acronym for “Good Morning Monday,” some speculators interpreted this as the exchange’s interest in Gamium’s GMM token.

Gamium protocol said its vision is to humanize the internet by providing digital identities for users on Web2 and Web3 spaces across several chains and metaverses.
