In the last 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market cap saw outflows of around $8 billion as the industry fell to $836.56 billion as of press time — down 1%.

Bitcoin and Ethereum’s market cap decreased by 0.46% and 3.31% to $319.89 billion and $149.15 billion, respectively.

The top 10 cryptocurrencies all recorded minor losses over the reporting period. The outliers were meme tokens Dogecoin and Shiba Inu, which rose by 0.35% and 2.18%, respectively. BTC and ETH recorded losses of 0.21% and 2.24%, respectively.

Over the reporting period, the market cap of USD Coin (USDC) increased to $44.42 billion, while Tether’s (USDT) and BinanceUSD (BUSD)  market caps decreased to $66.01 billion and $23.19 billion, respectively.

Bitcoin

In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin lost 0.21% to trade at $16,738 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance remained flat at 38.3% over the reporting period.

BTC mostly traded sideways in the last 24 hours. The flagship digital asset bottomed at $16,681 over the reporting period.

Ethereum

ETH fell 2.24% in the last 24 hours, trading for $1,231 as of 07:00 ET. Its market dominance fell to 17.9% from 18.3% over the reporting period.

Like BTC, ETH mostly traded sideways over the reporting period, bottoming at $1,223.

SCRT is the day's biggest gainer, rising by 61% to $1.00 as of press time. It was unclear why the token was rising. Its market cap stood at $164.27 million.

DFI.Money

YFII increased by 19% over the last 24 hours to $2,458 as of press time. The DeFi token has risen by 139% over the last 30 days. Its market cap stood at $94.89 million.

Humanscape

HUM saw 15.67% gains over the reporting period to trade at $0.086 as of press time. Over the last 30 days, it has shed 68% of its value. Its market cap stood at $75.68 million.
