Shuffle is an online crypto gambling site that went live in February 2023, founded by Noah Dummett — an Australian entrepreneur who previously worked at Alameda Research — alongside co-founders Darcy Spangler and Harley Fresh, with incubation from the crypto trading group Fisher8 Capital. The platform is owned and operated by Natural Nine B.V., a Curaçao company (reg. 160998, Korporaalweg 10, Willemstad), and in March 2024 it issued its own ERC-20 token, SHFL, which underpins the site's reward programmes. It is one of the few brands to have launched, scaled, and re-licensed entirely inside Curaçao's reformed regulatory framework. Today, Shuffle is one of the most popular bitcoin casinos in the world.
Everything about how the product actually performs — the games, the cashier, the reward model — is assessed in our Shuffle Casino review.
Licensing History
Natural Nine B.V. has been Shuffle's operating company since launch; neither the entity nor the brand name has changed. What has changed is the licence. Shuffle opened in February 2023 under Curaçao's old master-licence system, operating on an Antillephone sublicence (8048/JAZ). When the island's LOK reform replaced sublicensing with direct authorisation, the Curaçao Gaming Control Board granted Natural Nine B.V. its own licence, OGL/2024/1337/0628, on 16 October 2024. That licence remains on the regulator's public register — the body now operating as the Curaçao Gaming Authority — as of its February 2026 update.
