FortuneJack is one of the longest-running names in crypto gambling, a casino and sportsbook brand live on fortunejack.com since 2014 — early enough to sit among the original Bitcoin casino sites. After a decade under a Curaçao operator, the brand is now run by PlayWave SRL, a Costa Rican company licensed in Anjouan.
Ratings, payout testing, and bonus detail are in our FortuneJack Casino review.
Who Operates FortuneJack?
The operator of record is PlayWave SRL, a limited liability company registered in Costa Rica under company number CE-2024-206981. PlayWave SRL holds gaming licence ALSI-202411021-FI1, issued in 2024 by the Anjouan Gaming Board under the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, and is the entity named on FortuneJack's About page and in its terms — so account and payout obligations now sit with the Costa Rican company rather than the operator that ran the site for its first decade.
Ownership and Licensing History
FortuneJack launched in 2014 under Nexus Group Enterprises N.V., a Curaçao company (registration no. 139781) at Heelsumstraat 51, Willemstad. Nexus Group ran the site as sub-licensee 8048/JAZ2016-026 of Antillephone N.V., one of Curaçao's master licence holders, and Antillephone's validator still showed that licence as valid for fortunejack.com in December 2023.
In 2024, during Curaçao's transition away from the master-licence system, the setup changed on both fronts: operation passed to PlayWave SRL in Costa Rica, and regulatory oversight moved from Curaçao to the Anjouan Gaming Board under licence ALSI-202411021-FI1. The brand itself has never rebranded — FortuneJack has traded under the same name and domain since launch.
