Price signal unreliable

Only $0.00 traded over the last 24 hours, and the available market evidence is too limited to support the displayed price. Price-derived sentiment is withheld until activity reaches the reliability threshold.

How Trading Activity is calculated Model v1.0 · Price reliability, not a project rating.

What it measures

The model combines reported 24-hour volume, market-cap turnover, valid-pair liquidity, active exchange breadth, and quote freshness. Missing optional evidence lowers coverage; missing volume or a known-stale quote suppresses price-derived interpretation.

When inputs are missing, these configured weights are renormalized across the available evidence; data coverage records what is missing.

How to read it

Scores of 0–19 are dormant, 20–39 are thin, 40–69 are supported, and 70–100 are active. Scores below 40 withhold price-derived interpretation.

About Umia

Umia (UMIA) is an onchain venture protocol designed to combine token fundraising with market-based governance. Founders can apply to launch projects through Umia, raise capital through an onchain auction, and continue operating while tokenholders govern project treasuries through decision markets.

Overview

Umia is structured around the idea that venture projects can use blockchain infrastructure to make fundraising, treasury management, and governance more transparent. Each project launched through the protocol receives its own legal entity, which holds the project's intellectual property, team interests, and treasury.

Raised funds are held in an onchain treasury contract rather than being directly controlled by the founding team. The founding team receives a predefined monthly allowance for development and go-to-market activities, with the allowance established at formation and subject to specified recipient and purpose limits.

Fundraising and Tailored Auctions

Project fundraising takes place through a Tailored Auction, Umia's implementation of Uniswap's Continuous Clearing Auction (CCA). The auction discovers a token price over a defined period, while bids remain refundable according to the auction mechanism.

Projects can reserve portions of their token sale for their own communities. Eligibility can be established using zkTLS proofs generated through the Umia Extension, allowing participants to demonstrate qualifying activity without directly revealing their identity, accounts, or underlying data.

A portion of fundraising proceeds is automatically allocated to seed a Uniswap v4 liquidity pool. The liquidity pool is owned by the project's treasury, linking initial market liquidity to the project's onchain financial infrastructure.

Treasury Governance

Umia uses decision markets for governance beyond predefined operating allowances. A decision market is an open market in which participants assess different options for a proposed action and collectively establish a market-based view of its potential outcome.

Large expenditures, new commitments, changes to compensation, and requests to increase the founding team's allowance can therefore be submitted to tokenholder decision markets. This structure gives project tokenholders a mechanism to influence treasury decisions while keeping the underlying assets in noncustodial contracts.

Community Track

The protocol also operates a Community Track for selecting projects that can launch through Umia. Curation markets are paired against UMIA, allowing tokenholders to influence which projects applying to the platform are admitted.

Projects admitted through the Community Track provide a fixed share of their own token supply to the Umia protocol treasury. This creates an economic connection between project launches and the broader UMIA ecosystem.

UMIA Token

UMIA is the native ERC-20 token of the Umia protocol and operates on Base. The token is used to participate in governance and coordinate decision-making across the protocol.

  • Token: UMIA.
  • Standard: ERC-20.
  • Network: Base.
  • Governance: Tokenholders participate through decision markets.
  • Treasury: Holders direct the protocol's noncustodial treasury.
  • Protocol configuration: Governance can influence fees and other protocol parameters.
  • Community Track: UMIA serves as the pairing asset for project curation markets.

Use Cases and Market Position

Umia targets the intersection of decentralized finance, venture financing, and onchain governance. Its model moves several traditional venture functions, including capital formation, treasury oversight, project selection, and operational funding, into programmable blockchain contracts and market mechanisms.

The protocol's own launch provides an example of its operating model. Umia is the first project launched through its platform and operates under the same framework intended for subsequent projects.

Risks and Considerations

Projects launched through Umia remain subject to risks associated with early-stage ventures, token markets, smart contracts, and decentralized governance. Decision markets may produce outcomes that differ from the preferences of individual participants, while auction-based fundraising can result in changing token valuations and liquidity conditions.

The protocol also depends on the security of Base, Uniswap infrastructure, treasury contracts, and the smart contracts supporting its auctions and governance mechanisms. Participants should review project-specific legal structures, token terms, treasury rules, and technical documentation before interacting with UMIA or participating in a project launch.

Umia is an onchain venture protocol that combines project fundraising, noncustodial treasuries, token-based governance, and market-driven decision-making on Base.
