Jackson Palmer Bio
Jackson Palmer is an American software engineer who co-created dogecoin in 2013ย with Billy Markus. They chose to develop a payment system as a “joke”, making fun of the wild speculation in cryptocurrencies at the time. Dogecoinย is considered both the first “meme coin”, and, more particularly, the first “dog coin”. The comedic cryptocurrency was created as a method to mock Bitcoin and the other other cryptocurrencies boasting ambitious aspirations to take over the world.
