iShares Ethereum Trust ETF About

The iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) is BlackRock’s spot Ethereum exchange-traded product. It holds ether and trades on Nasdaq, allowing investors to obtain exposure through a brokerage account without managing private keys.

How ETHA Works

ETHA seeks to reflect the price of ether, less the trust’s expenses. The fund does not stake its ether. Investors own shares in the trust and cannot use those shares to withdraw ether into a personal wallet.
A 1-for-3 reverse split took effect on October 6, 2026. The share count and per-share value adjusted proportionately, with fractional interests redeemed for cash.

Fees and Risks

ETHA charges an annual sponsor fee of 0.25%. Its introductory fee waiver has expired. Brokerage charges and the bid/ask spread can add to trading costs. Share prices can differ from net asset value, and investors remain exposed to ether price losses and custody risks.
