The company is incorporated under the laws of Costa Rica with registration number 3-102-893958 and a registered address in Potrero Cerrado, Oreamuno, Cartago Province, Costa Rica. Novatrix SRL manages a broad portfolio of gambling brands, a large share of which — Winz.io among them — previously ran under the Curaçao company Dama N.V.
Licensing
The site's terms and conditions, effective February 17, 2026, state that Novatrix SRL operates Winz.io under e-gaming license No. 0000002 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission. The footer additionally cites a license from the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, No. ALSI-202508056-FI2. These credentials replaced the Curaçao license the brand held for most of its existence; Winz.io's current legal pages no longer reference Curaçao at all.
Ownership History
Winz.io launched in 2020 as a Dama N.V. brand. Dama N.V., registered in Curaçao under number 152125, was one of the largest operators of crypto gambling sites and held Curaçao Gaming Control Board license OGL/2023/174/0082 for Winz.io. Between 2025 and early 2026 the brand passed to Novatrix SRL: the Anjouan license now shown in the footer carries a 2025-series number (ALSI-202508056-FI2), and the terms naming Novatrix SRL as owner-operator, backed by the Tobique credential, took effect on February 17, 2026. The handover tracked two wider shifts — Curaçao's licensing overhaul under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (LOK), and the migration of numerous former Dama N.V. brands to Novatrix SRL. Because gaming obligations rest with the operator of record, Novatrix SRL is now the counterparty for account and payout matters at Winz.io.
