It’s been a hard year for crypto users in the US. The IRS has started chasing down crypto taxes, various exchanges have withdrawn services from US users, and most recently, Telegram has come under the wrath of the SEC, accused of selling unregistered securities.

However, despite all this, the US crypto scene continues to thrive. Not only is it one of the countries with the most Bitcoin HODLers, but there’s also a buzzing event calendar packed with blockchain and crypto-related events. Here are just a few of the biggest conferences taking place on US soil between now and the end of the year.

CoinAgenda

When: October 26-28
Where: Las Vegas

The 6th annual CoinAgenda event lands in Sin City during the last week of this month. Perhaps unsurprisingly, this year’s agenda focuses on legal, regulatory, and jurisdictional issues involved with starting and investing in blockchain companies. Topics include trends in investing, trading, and funds, along with a deep-dive into exchanges, IEO’s and security tokens.

The speaker lineup includes Jed McCaleb, co-founder of Stellar, VC investor Brock Pierce, Olga Feldmeier, CEO of Smart Valor, and many more. The event kicks off with a half-day contest where startups can pitch to VCs. Previous winners of the CoinAgenda contest include Aeternity, Bancor, and Qtum.

As you’d expect from an event held in Vegas, the evening events are as much a part of the agenda as the daytime sessions. The fun starts with an opening night party at the Hard Rock Hotel.

World Crypto Con

When: October 29-31
Where: Las Vegas

If you want to make a week of it, then World Crypto Con is also taking place in Vegas straight after the CoinAgenda event. The conference is split into four tracks. The enterprise track focuses on broad areas, including regulatory, fintech, and enterprise blockchain applications. Decentralized takes more of a developer slant, while WCC Mine is entirely focused on mining. Finally, Mass Adoption will present new ideas and opportunities from leaders in the blockchain community.

Speakers include Jon Najarian from Investitute, Pei Chen, Director of Financial Services at Consensus, and Brenda Eich, CEO of Brave. Evening entertainment features a spooky “Cryptoween” party, with a secret special guest.

SF Blockchain Week

When: October 28-November 3
Where: San Francisco

One of the biggest events in the US crypto-calendar taking place in the heart of Silicon Valley, SF Blockchain Week is not to be missed. The speaker list is a veritable whos-who of the blockchain and crypto world, with an opening keynote from Don Tapscott of the Blockchain Research Institute, and other sessions hosted by Vitalik Buterin, Mike Novogratz of Galaxy Digital, and Jihan Wu of Bitmain.

If the regulatory environment in the US is of concern to you, then the event is also attended by Hester Peirce of the SEC and Congressman Warren Davidson.

There are plenty of networking opportunities and side events happening throughout the week, many of which you can even attend without having a ticket for the main event. For example, TRON is hosting an afterparty on Oct. 30 at a one-of-a-kind underground speakeasy.

DAS Markets

When: November 13
Where: New York City

With a heavy focus on crypto market infrastructure, the DAS Markets event has more of a finance flavor than the others. The agenda includes sessions on methods of trading crypto assets, the challenges of insuring digital assets, and integrating institutions into cryptocurrency markets.

Speakers are selected from companies that bridge the crypto and finance space, including Morgan Creek Capital, TD Ameritrade, Grayscale Investments, Mastercard, and Anchorage. A standard ticket will get you access to the full day, including a networking reception from 5 pm to 7 pm. However, you’ll need a VIP ticket to participate in the private dinner event afterward.

Blockchain Expo North America

When: November 13-14
Where: Santa Clara

Attended by some of the biggest names in the tech world, including IBM, Oracle Hyperledger, and the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance, Blockchain Expo is huge. The event is expected to host 12,000 delegates this year, comprising CTOs, IT Directors, Investors, VCs, Technology Providers, and many others. There will be showcases of cutting-edge technologies from over 350 exhibitors.

Given there’s such a heavy focus on enterprise adoption of blockchain, it should be no surprise that the speaker list is dominated by heads of industry extending far beyond the pure blockchain space. Headliners include representatives from FedEx, Walmart, and Credit Suisse, as well as Litecoin, Polymath, and IOTA.

Many of the sessions are also free to attend. If you’re interested in investment, convergent technology solutions, or blockchain for business, then there are various agenda items that don’t require a ticket. However, to participate in the evening networking events, you’ll need to have a pass.
