Bitcoin‘s ebbs and flows have inspired the famous when lambo meme—the act of trading the asset’s volatility to make ungodly amounts of cash in a short period of time. Most get rekt, but those who put the time, effort, and dedication in learning the trade reach the levels of the enviable make it.

One such individual is Sami Loyal. All of 19, Loyal is a crypto and indices trader who made over $1 million after dropping out of college and running a successful YouTube channel. As per a release last year, he reportedly started his first business with just $28.

The trading bug bit Loyal after watched Wolf of Wall Street, the popular stock trading movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio which was inspired by the story of infamous penny stock trader Jordan Belford. Loyal wanted to “live the life” and the rest is history.

In this week’s interview with Cryptonites host Alex Fazel, Loyal shared the story of how he got into trading, how he found out about Bitcoin, and how the asset helped transform his humble life into one that centers around trading and crypto education.

Loyal runs a crypto trading academy called Forflies which helps newcomers with the tools of tricks to make it themselves. Guidance is something that helped Loyal when he was just started out as a trader—he discovered educator and investor Tai Lopez back in his younger years and started mirroring the habits and mindsets of wealthy, successful people like Lopez.

“Just seeing very wildly successful people, I started to think what like starting to wonder what’s possible. And then for me, it was reading books. That’s what allowed me to build the mindset,” said Loyal.

How a winning mindset helped

He confessed to being a young book lover who started reading improvement and moneymaking books at the ripe age of 14. “I got very lucky to start reading those self-development books because it’s like that is the perfect age to learn things,” he said.

Some books that Loyal recommended on the show were The Success Principles by Jack Canfield and Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill—two widely-popular, worldwise distributed books that teach how to build a winning and confident mindset, tackle daily challenges, and achieving whatever the mind dreams of.

“It’s about giving you that burning desire you know. You gotta you got to really really want it. There’s no plan B,” said Loyal, adding that must “obviously be sensible” even while going through with such a process.

It’s where Bitcoin started to fits in with Loyal’s overall worldview. “Especially if you live in the West. And that’s your reason to buy bitcoin. Because if you’re unlucky enough to be in the US, read about the gold bullion seizure….(and) see the potential in Bitcoin,” Loyal said.

“It’s Plan B, it’s the alternative,” he added.
