Ryne Miller is the General Counsel at FTX US. Ryne worked at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP where he was a Partner and Co-Head of its Commodities, Futures & Derivatives practice before joining FTX US.
He was formerly an attorney at the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission where he served as legal counsel to Chairman Gary Gensler. Miller is an active participant in the American Bar Association’s Derivatives and Futures Law Committee as well as the New York City Bar Association’s Futures & Derivatives Regulation Committee. He is also on the Executive Committee of the Futures Industry Association’s Law & Compliance Division. Before that he worked as a law clerk for Magistrate Judge Steven P. Shreder in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
Ryne has a LL.M. from the New York University School of Law and a JD from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He has a bachelors degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University.
