FTMO is a Czech prop firm that has sold the same evaluation since 2015, the longest track record in this set. It runs two routes: a two-step Challenge and Verification, and a single-phase alternative. Account sizes run from $10,000 to $200,000 and scale to $2,000,000, priced in euros from €79 whatever currency the account itself is denominated in. The two-step fee is refunded in full at the first payout and the one-step fee is not. A repeatable free trial is available before any purchase.

Where FTMO sits
The two routes share a name and very little else. The two-step keeps a static floor measured from the initial balance, so profit buys room. The single-phase route trails its floor from the highest midnight balance, never lowers it, and adds a 50% Best Day Rule the two-step does not carry — only withdrawing a payout resets that floor. Picking the wrong one for your style is the most expensive mistake available here. How the firm compares on scores, costs and payout evidence sits at every prop firm CryptoSlate scores, and the OANDA route is compared against how other firms handle US eligibility for currency traders.
Risk disclosure
Proprietary trading carries substantial risk. Evaluation fees are non-refundable service charges rather than deposits, they are not client funds, and the fee can be lost without ever reaching a payout. No reset is sold at any price, so a breached account must be replaced at full cost. Nothing here is financial advice.
