Alex Ortiz

As Chief Blockchain Evangelist for the lifeID Platform, Alex is responsible for educating the world about the future of blockchain-based self-sovereign identity technology, finding integration partners for the lifeID ecosystem, and representing his team at standards organizations like W3C. Alex is heavily involved with the Seattle blockchain community and is a frequent panelist, presenter, mentor, and guest contributor to blockchain-based events and leadership efforts. He serves as his team’s Advisory Committee Representative at the W3C and is a member of the Verifiable Claims Working Group, which is creating use cases and data models for cryptographically verifiable credentials for use by individuals, electronic devices, and organizations.
