UPCX is an open-source, blockchain-based payment platform designed to provide fast, secure, and compliant financial services to global users. It is built on Graphene technology and employs a hybrid consensus algorithm of Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) and Byzantine Fault Tolerance (BFT) to achieve performance comparable to leading credit card networks.

UPCX offers a super app-enabled ecosystem that simplifies financial transactions and makes them more efficient and multi-functional[2]. It allows easy development of financial smart contracts and issuance of fungible tokens (User Issued Assets), non-fungible tokens (Non-Fungible Assets), and stablecoins (Market Pegged Assets) pegged to real-world assets like fiat currencies and commodities.

All assets on UPCX can be used for payments, transfers, and remittances through the UPCX software wallet, enabling cross-asset transactions. Users can freely trade assets on UPCX's decentralized exchange (DEX).
