Cloudbet is one of the first bitcoin casinos online that has been live since 2013, one of the few gambling brands from the original Bitcoin era still operating today. The site is run by Halcyon Super Holdings B.V., a company incorporated in Curaçao (no. 148526) and registered at Abraham Mendez Chumaceiro Boulevard 03, Willemstad. Almost none of the other crypto casinos predate it, and through that entire run the brand name has never changed.
Both halves of the platform carry a full CryptoSlate review: games, bonuses, and payout performance are rated in the Cloudbet Casino review, and the betting side gets the same treatment in the Cloudbet Sportsbook review.
Licensing History
Cloudbet spent most of its first decade under Curaçao's old eGaming sublicence system, and for several years its legal pages also cited an E-Gambling Montenegro licence (no. 02/01-118/4) held through Tiger Tree Holdings d.o.o. That dual arrangement ended after Curaçao overhauled its gambling law: under the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (P.B. 2024, no. 157), Halcyon Super Holdings B.V. was granted a direct Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, OGL/2024/328/0599, on 23 May 2025. Montenegro no longer appears on Cloudbet's licensing page, which today names only the CGA licence and Solas Technologies Limited, a Cyprus-registered subsidiary that processes certain payments under it.
