Jesse Shrader is the Co-founder and CEO of Amboss, a leading provider of Bitcoin Lightning Network data and insights. With a background as an engineer, Jesse is dedicated to supporting the ongoing development of the decentralized social payments layer for Bitcoin.
At Amboss, Jesse focuses on providing coordination tools to the Bitcoin Lightning Network, helping to optimize the performance of the fully-reserved payments layer for bitcoin. He applies his engineering expertise to manage the complexity of the growing decentralized network, responding to the needs for better payment systems globally.
Inspired by his experiences with class action lawsuits involving US banks, as well as his observations of countries facing double-digit inflation, Jesse is committed to improving the user experience of the bitcoin protocol and providing access to advanced financial services worldwide.
Prior to co-founding Amboss, Jesse held various engineering roles at the City of Portland, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and Epic Systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resources Engineering from Humboldt State University.
