CryptoSlate launches Crypto Asset Predictions for five major assets

CryptoSlate has launched Crypto Asset Predictions, a new research layer on our coin pages that turns historical market data into 30-day, 90-day and one-year price outlooks. Each forecast shows a median estimate alongside wider probability ranges, so readers can see both the model’s central case and how uncertain that estimate is.

The first release covers Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Solana, and Zcash. The prediction section lives inside each asset’s CryptoSlate profile, next to the market data and background readers already use.

How the predictions work

In plain terms, the system studies how an asset’s price has behaved through different market conditions, including quiet periods, fast rallies and severe selloffs. It approaches that history in three ways. One model estimates how volatility changes over time and allows for unusually large moves. Another replays past market shocks after adjusting them for current volatility. A third estimates several points across the range of possible outcomes instead of aiming only at an average.

CryptoSlate combines historical market data, volatility, past shocks, and quantile estimates to model 2,000 possible price paths. These form the forecast ranges and stress scenarios shown to readers. The results are estimates, not financial advice.

The system then tests those approaches on earlier forecast dates without letting them see the prices that followed. Their results determine how much weight each approach receives. For every asset and time horizon, the model produces 2,000 possible price paths. Those paths become the median forecast and the 50%, 80% and 95% ranges shown on the chart.

Readers can switch among 30-day, 90-day and one-year views. Each view also includes bullish, bearish and black-swan scenarios. A separate downside stress model helps estimate the effect of an unusually severe decline. These scenarios are ways to examine uncertainty, not promises about where a price will land.

Built to be checked later

We only display numerical forecasts after the underlying data, calculation and publication checks pass. Each forecast records its source date, reference price, target date, model version and supporting diagnostics. The page also explains the model components, their weights, known limitations and the age of the current data.

Published snapshots remain in the prediction history rather than being rewritten after the market moves. That gives readers a direct record of what CryptoSlate published at the time and makes it possible to judge the forecasts against later outcomes. When a newer completed daily close is ready and the checks pass, the system can publish a fresh snapshot while preserving the earlier one.

CryptoSlate's Editor-in-Chief, Liam “Akiba” Wright, noted:

“I’m incredibly proud of how this model has been built. Publishing the methodology in full and preserving every forecast in a permanent historical record is epic in my opinion. It means readers can see exactly what we predicted and evaluate its performance over time.

Unlike some crypto influencers on X who delete a call after the fact, every past CryptoSlate prediction remains visible. That's the standard of accountability and transparency that should exist in crypto forecasting.”

More assets will follow

This five-asset release is the starting set. We plan to add more crypto assets as their market history and data quality meet the requirements for a useful forecast. Coverage will expand in stages, and every added asset will use the same visible methodology, horizon choices and prediction-history record.

Research tool ≠ NFA

Crypto Asset Predictions are informational probability estimates. They are not investment advice, financial advice, a price guarantee, or an instruction to buy, sell or hold any asset. Crypto markets can change abruptly, and actual prices can fall outside every range displayed by the model.

Readers should do their own research, consider their personal circumstances and consult a qualified financial professional when appropriate. Please also read CryptoSlate’s full disclaimers before making any financial decision.
