Metaspins is a casino and sportsbook that entered crypto gambling in 2022 as a Curaçao-run brand and, since mid-2026, operates under an Anjouan license held by a Costa Rica-registered company. The metaspins.com domain and brand name have stayed the same throughout, but both the legal entity behind the site and its regulator have changed since launch.
How the product actually performs — the welcome offer, payout times, and verification checks — is covered in our Metaspins Sportsbook review.
Who Operates Metaspins?
Metaspins.com is owned and operated by 3-102-959384 SRL, a Costa Rican limited company that uses its corporate registration number as its legal name, with a registered address at Edificio Ofident, San Pedro, Costa Rica. The company is licensed by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros, under license No. ALSI-202606048-FI2. The Anjouan Gaming register lists that license as a valid B2C authorization covering the metaspins.com domain, issued June 30, 2026 and running to June 29, 2027.
Ownership History
Metaspins launched in 2022 under Metaspins N.V., a company incorporated in Curaçao (registration no. 160102), registered first at Zuikertuintjeweg Z/N and later at Scharlooweg 39, Willemstad. Its original authorization was sub-license GLH-OCCHKTW0703232022 under Curaçao eGaming's 365/JAZ master license. As Curaçao reformed its gaming framework, Metaspins N.V. moved onto a direct Curaçao Gaming Control Board license, OGL/2024/1063/0437 — the route most Curaçao crypto casinos took after the overhaul — and the site still displayed that license in May 2026.
The switch came in mid-2026. On June 30, 2026, Anjouan issued license ALSI-202606048-FI2 to 3-102-959384 SRL, and the metaspins.com footer and terms now name the Costa Rican company as owner and operator, with no remaining reference to Metaspins N.V. or Curaçao. For anything contractual — terms, disputes, payouts — the counterparty is the current SRL named on the site, not the earlier Curaçao company.
