Lamine Brahimi is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Taurus SA, a company specializing in digital asset infrastructure. He holds an MSc in Communication Systems Engineering from EPFL, an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
Brahimi began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. He later joined Lombard Odier’s wealth management unit, where he served as Deputy-COO, Chief Digital Officer, and General Secretary of the Group.
As Chief Digital Officer at Lombard Odier, Brahimi spearheaded the design and development of the company's wealth management digital strategy. He led the creation of several critically acclaimed platforms, particularly in investment advisory. Notably, he pushed for the first real blockchain prototype to be tested in a private bank, focusing on the clearing and settlements of structured products with the Swiss Stock Exchange and Swiss Fintech Innovations.
In 2018, Brahimi co-founded Taurus SA. As Managing Partner, he has been instrumental in positioning Taurus as a leading provider of secure and compliant digital asset solutions for banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions. His leadership has been key in expanding the company’s services to include custody, tokenization, and trading of digital assets.
Brahimi represented Swiss Private Banks at the Fintech Commission of the Swiss Bankers Association and was a founding member and board member of Swiss Fintech Innovations. His work has significantly contributed to the integration of new technologies in the financial industry, enhancing efficiency and security.
