Nikita Manovich is a co-founder of CVAT.ai Corp, where he serves as the lead and architect for the Computer Vision Annotation Tool (CVAT). Under his direction, CVAT.ai specializes in offering cutting-edge annotation tools vital for machine learning and artificial intelligence applications.
Before embarking on his entrepreneurial journey, Manovich had an impressive career at Intel Corporation, where he was a Deep Learning Manager from December 2018 to August 2022. During his tenure at Intel, he also held the position of Senior Software Engineer from July 2016 to December 2018. In both roles, he led and architected the development of the Computer Vision Annotation Tool.
Prior to his time at Intel, Manovich gained significant experience at Itseez as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2013 to July 2016. Here, he wore multiple hats—serving as a product manager, product owner, and senior software engineer. Earlier in his career, Manovich worked as a Software Developer at Intel Corporation from December 2004 to December 2012. His work primarily revolved around developing performance and analysis tools such as Intel Performance Tuning Utility, Intel Parallel Amplifier, and Intel VTune Amplifier XE.
