About Phantom

Phantom Wallet is a non-custodial crypto wallet that started as a Solana-first
product and has since expanded into a broader multi-chain app. Available as a
browser extension and on iOS and Android, Phantom supports Solana, Ethereum,
Base, Polygon, Sui, Monad, Bitcoin, and HyperEVM. Users can store assets,
send and receive crypto, swap tokens, manage NFTs, and connect to
decentralized apps from one interface. For a closer look at how it performs
in practice, see our Phantom Wallet review.

Phantom still makes the most sense for people whose activity centers on
Solana, where its wallet experience, NFT support, and dApp access remain
especially strong. That said, it is no longer accurate to describe Phantom as
only a Solana wallet. It is now a broader crypto app with multi-chain reach,
though it still does not support every major network natively. Readers
comparing Solana-focused options can also explore our guide to the best Solana wallets.

For developers, Phantom also provides browser and mobile tooling that lets
supported apps connect to the wallet for approvals, signatures, and
transactions. If you want to compare it with similar everyday self-custody
options, see our picks for the best hot crypto wallets.
