He is the co-founder of Copa90, a YouTube Originals venture that has received backing from various entities including Liberty Global, Turner, eVentures, and inFront. His other notable projects span various mediums and platforms— from “You, Me and the Apocalypse,” a drama series aired on Sky Drama and NBC, to “I Am Playr,” an award-winning Facebook game featuring digital currency and virtual goods in partnerships with brands like Nike, Red Bull, and Gillette.

As the Managing Partner at Decent Partners since August 2018, Welsh heads a digital co-operative aimed at initiating, supporting, and funding projects that unleash creative potential and build resilient communities. Before Decent Partners, Welsh served as the Managing Director of Lemonade Money from June 2019 to November 2022. He also held a leadership role at Z Studios cc, where he was a co-founder from February 2016 to February 2019. In addition, he offered his consultancy services to Element AS from June 2018 to October 2018.

Other Endeavors

Adding another feather to his cap, he was an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at Prehype from September 2016 to May 2017—a venture development firm specializing in incubating new digital companies. Earlier in his career, he served as the Creative Director at Bigballs Media from January 2010 to February 2016, and at COPA90 from September 2012 to February 2016.
