Bank for International Settlements

Bank for International Settlements (BIS) is an international financial institution, whose headquarter is in Basel, Switzerland, with representative offices in Hong Kong SAR and Mexico City. Its main goal is to foster international monetary and financial cooperation while serving as a bank for central banks.

By hosting international organizations working to promote global financial stability and supporting their interaction, the BIS carries out its work through meetings, programs, and the Basel Process. However, it only offers banking services to central banks and other international organizations.
