Yesterday, global cryptocurrency exchange Huobi Global kicked off a Valentine’s Day promotion with 3Commas, a leading platform for automated trading bots. 3Commas users who link their accounts to their Huobi accounts will receive a free 30-day Pro subscription after completing a transaction.
This partnership reflects the growing role that trading platform partners under the Huobi Broker Program are playing in Huobi Global’s ecosystem. Under the Huobi Broker Program, partners are eligible to receive up to 50% of the trading fees generated from each trader introduced to Huobi Global’s cryptocurrency exchange platform (the “Platform”).
The Huobi Broker Program was established in Q3 2021 to expand Huobi Global’s reach across the global cryptocurrency industry. Huobi Global acknowledges that there are different platforms that cater to crypto traders with different needs. Trading bot platforms, algorithmic trading platforms, and other sophisticated trading software providers such as 3Commas target seasoned crypto traders who are looking for more advanced features, but these platforms also need to link with centralized exchanges to meet their liquidity needs.
The Huobi Broker Program features different types of partners. 3Commas is an API partner; its proprietary platform links traders to Huobi Global’s exchange through an API. Other types of partners under the Huobi Broker Program include Referrer Brokers and Exchange Brokers. Referrer Brokers refer to VIP traders or high-volume traders on the Platform, while Exchange Brokers are smaller exchanges that look to expand their liquidity pools by linking up with Huobi Global.
